The Stingray has an LT1 that is direct injection and makes 455 or 460hp depending on options. SS has modified LS3 that makes 415. Stingray has either 7 speed manual or 8 speed auto. SS has 6 speed manual or 6 speed auto. SS is heavy and slow, Stingray is not. Also Stingray starts at $55k. Nice try though! Congrats on the new car man.

at my work we sell them at 85-120k

Well your work screws people over then. A lot of places sell them for MSRP or lower.

Scratch the rim the 7 year 70,000 mile warranty will replace it for free if they cant fix it. Same thing with everything bumper to bumper because we bought the better warranty package. Even though the SS may have the same drive-train its not going to handle anywhere close to this car. We have the z51 and LT3 packs on it as well

Its also 8-speed auto with the sequential paddle shifting if i feel like it.

Really? Were they swapped? Last I heard, GM wasn't going to put manuals in them like they did with the GXP. I still wouldn't buy one though. Not near as good looking as the GXP. When GM killed Pontiac, they killed all interest I had in owning anything they make.
