Controller - LT and RT same axis?

Alot of controllers are like this. All the logitech controllers, and the xbox 360 controller for windows.. LT and RT are assigned on the same axis, just negative and positive. This causes issues when using both triggers at once. If i am using LT then RT wont work, it is same vice versa. I am just wondering how you guys overcame this? to make it possible to use both the left and right trigger at the same time. Im sure someone has firgured it out, seeing the well known mxs corner technique to use front brake in the apex of the corner, giving the front wheel traction at the same time as lifting weight off the back tire to quickly gas out and spin around. I have always done this, i cannot play mxs without this technique. But i have a new controller, and LT AND RT ARE ASSIGNED TO THE SAME DAMN AXIS! anyone know a mapping program or something? im sure someone knows the fix!
Thanks!

I use XBCD but the site I got the newest version from isn't working anymore (http://vba-m.com/forum/Thread-xbcd-0-2- ... osted-here).

Luckily I still have the installer. https://www.mediafire.com/?bm3hsi4jjmmcab5

After it's installed I don't remember if your controller automatically uses those drivers or not, so do this to make sure it is.
  • Go into your device manager and expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" section and look for your controller (should be an obvious name, like Microsoft Xbox360 Controller or something). If it's not there look in the "Human Interface Devices" section, I think sometimes they also create their own sub category in the device manager if you can't find it there.
    Image
  • Right click it and go to Update Driver Software.
  • Choose "Browse my computer for driver software".
  • Choose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
  • Look for "XBCD Xbox 360 Controller" in the list and click next, the driver will be installed.

Now the the driver is installed start the XBCD Setup Utility
  • Choose your controller in the drop down next to Device.
  • In the drop down menu in the lower left corner choose "Triggers as Split Axes"
    Image
  • Click Apply and Exit. Your triggers should now be able to operate separate in game. The setup utility can also be used for other cool things (remapping buttons, same function on multiple buttons etc.).

Can I get the XBCD drivers to work in games that read Xbox 360 controllers? I tried setting all the buttons and axes the same as when the Microsoft drivers are installed, but I was unable to use both triggers at the same time. I don't really mind installing the Microsoft ones when I want to play another game, but when I install the XBCD drivers to play sim I have to restart my PC and it makes me cry.

I don't think I've had problems using it in other games, but I don't really use it for any other games . It works in MvA, that's about the extent of my testing. I usually don't have to restart the computer when switching the drivers for it either.

It's only going to XBCD. The Setup Utility just won't let me choose it but it shows up right in the device manager. I probably won't use it for other games after I finish Max Payne anyways.

Couldn't get it to work on w10. Neither of the versions (yours and the newest), could get it installed but not choose it as a driver for the controller.
