I was following this game sooooooooooo much. Then I saw videos of firefights and it looked nasty and I haven't even looked again.

I went to buy into this about a month ago but there wasn't any easy way to tell what did what. How does one buy into Star Citizen?

I also read something about buying modules of the game along with ships and I'm not exactly sure what I'm buying into or what my ship does if I do buy it. Specifically I'm looking to get the 300i. What am I buying when I buy that package? Is there any reason for me to go up a few ships or down? Whats the insurance do? Why do I need ingame currency?

Insurance is needed no matter what in game, but that wont take effect till the gets fully released. same with ingame currency, but you also can make in game currency by selling ships, parts, mining, stealing and pawning, ect ect. but this is the package you want so you have beta access.
