CR125/250 Conversion to look like 2014-2015 TX Race

Post by Jsemmens1997 »

Ive seen people drill holes and fit 2014 or the newer style plastics to the cr models, but i came across this! Its a company called TX Race, and they actually do a kits, and seats to convert it to look like the new style bikes! To me they look amazing! the curves of the plastics and seat angles and everything looks amazing. You dont need to drill any holes or anything for them to fit too!!!! The different and they are abit pricey, but if anyone wants to make there cr unigue and looks updated i think this is the way to go!!!. I wish i owned a Cr! What do you guys think of it?

That big old bolt in the middle of the seat is a nice modern touch.

Are they producing their own plastics or what? Seems like the sideplates don't come out far enough to be OEM.

It seems like a cool product, but I'd much rather just have the 2 stroke plastics tbh.

LMFAO. Didn't notice that until you said something. How is that even acceptable?

Anyways, I think it looks better stock too.

That seat reminds me of my KTM 50, had a dzus fastener in the back to take it on and off. The whole subframe/sidepanels was one piece of (may have been hollow, or solid can't remember) plastic.

Nah the old ones look really shitty. I think Kawi and Yamaha had way better ones that year.

My Dad has an old Husaberg 650 Supermoto and the seat fastens at the rear like that but the bolt always comes loose when you ride. I did a race on it a few months ago and had a small lowside crash, got back up to find that the seat had completely come off.
