Alright guys, I bought a bigger SSD. Last time, I just reinstalled windows and started fresh instead of cloning my HDD to SSD. How do I transfer everything from my 240gb SSD to my 500gb? I’ve tried cloning softwares, but they only clone 240gb, and leave the rest unallocated, so I’d have to make a new volume partition on the same drive, and I don’t want that. Any help is appreciated

Why don't you just run both instead of dealing with all the transfer bullshit?

I agree with August. Is your 240GB failing? Also, I think there is a way to format the extra partition and then merge it, too.

I was going to use my 240 in my work laptop, since I don't keep much on it.

Partition Manager with a how to on merging different drives. Clone the 240GB to the new one, format the unallocated space and merge. If Windows 10 won't let you this program should.

Been looking for a 1080 or 1080 TI for a while now but am never quick enough.

Don't need one, so I don't want to pay out the ass for one but man it's getting ridiculous. Anyone know when the next gen of cards will be released? Will that help at all, or will the 10 series cards just be second hand only at that point and the race will be on for even pricier 20 series cards?

New cards will be worse if mining is still prevalent...

They seem to announce the new generation every May. Really not looking forward to it because then my 1080ti will finally be outdated by the 1180.

i have a question. i've bought an apple iphone 6 16gb (for 150€), and as i connected to the wifi it downloaded ios 11.
i know that some users are having problem with this os but that's not the point.
ios 11 is about 1.5gb. my question is, if once i update my phone, ios 10 that i'm actually using will be deleted. if yes, i'd update, but if no.. i wouldnt, cause i would have too low space.

Using your numbers, iOS 11 being a 1.5GB update that just means there are 1.5GB of changes. Upgrading from 10 to 11 does not mean you will take an additional 1.5GB of space for the update. It will probably be close to the same amount of storage space required for 10 or 11.

what i was trying to mean is:
let’s suppose i still have 10gb unused on my phone.
if i’m going to download the new os (1,5gb) and install it,
will i have 8,5gb of unused space or will i have 10gb unused?

in the end i installed the new os and i only have lost 300mb of space, probabily the old os has been overwrited and the 300mb are used from new features that has been added.

the biggest of the problem here is my english, it’s pretty hard to write what i want to mean.
