Shack, make sure to have your balance chamber empty when filling your others and fill the balance last. I saw a bunch of bikes at Loretta's come over and they were losing an inch or more travel because the off setting pressures weren't allowing the suspension to fully expand.

Most people that say 450s are too much power have never ridden a 450 from my experience.

People are completely emptying the balance chambers before adding to the inner?

The manual explicitly states to add pressure in the order of (1) Inner, (2) Outer, (3) Balance, and this order is reversed when removing pressure from all chambers. I haven't read to completely empty the balance chamber before filling, but i have realized that the pressure in the balance chamber definitely effects the "actual" pressure in the inner chamber. I think the idea is that the fork needs to be fully extended in order to properly fill the inner chamber (More pressure in the balance = more resistance to extending the suspension). There is a lower pressure limit on the balance chamber (77psi) that i do not want to go under, so i'll just let air out down to that pressure before making adjustments.... unless you have heard otherwise?

What Chris is saying is true. I had to consult with Chris as we were seeing massive fluctuations in pressures, and loss of travel. It caused the bike to feel one way at the start of the moto and completely different at the end. Once we did what Chris is suggesting, we have noticed a huge improvement as the forks stay consistent throughout. Give it a shot.
