Re: Motocross Game Development Livestream
Archive will be up. I guess twitch only keeps the archives for a week or two. I want to upload them somewhere else for the guys interested, but I dont want to upload to yt and have people copying my code and things. I might put them up on my website.aeffertz wrote:It'd be cool to be able to watch the archives of this.

Re: Motocross Game Development Livestream
Hey guys. Just wanted to give some updates. All streams are being archived on twitch but if you miss it in the future the latest stream will be up on my website. I plan on archiving all my streams on my website but for now the latest one will be spanning the entire browser until I finish my website(Ive been working on it for months). Its just a basic html5 player so you shouldnt have a any problems playing it. The url for my website is http://mhodgedev.com. My previous streams will be in http://mhodgedev.com/streams when I Stream some more. ex the one thats up now will be in that folder when the new ones up. Thanks for all your support and interest in our project, it means a lot.

Re: Motocross Game Development Livestream
Hey guys. Some of you may have noticed I havent been streaming. I am super busy lately and I havent really had anything to stream. Sometimes I cant figure something out and it takes hours to get right, but hopefully soon I can get back to streaming the easy stuff. For now I have ditched my self made website which was so close to being done. I created a wordpress site which is way more secure and optimized for what we need it for currently and I dont really want to learn back end web programming and work on our game plus have to work 12 hours a day at my real job. I have implemented a blog section (wow a blog on wordpress! so original) on the front page where I will post a DevLog on some, but not all things I do programming wise which will be semi-daily. When I get around to livestreaming I might archive them there too not sure yet. I have also created a forum if you have any questions to ask me. I most likely will disable though until further into the dev. I plan to unlock registration in the next few days. So head on over to http://mhodgedev.com and read the first few posts! Thank you to all of you who are still interested and are supporting us during this long, but fun process.

Re: Motocross Game Development Livestream
Totally rewrote the physics in a 14 hour time frame (5pm to 7am) about a week and a half/two weeks ago. Then this past week I got user content working for just skins right now. The only reason I didnt stream it was because its so complicated and I was studying the documentation and trying to convert png's into sprites and then sprites into actual textures that go on the bikes. I took the weekend off after all that hard programming and plan to start up again tomorrow night.

Thanks man appreciate it a lot. I forgot I made this video for Sky demonstrating what I had got done. I'm going to have to mess around with it a lot to get it to work well but it's a start. I hadn't fixed some code for the bike so it was trying to rotate it forward when it was on the ground so don't mind the physics in this video lol
