2017 AMA National Numbers
Re: 2017 AMA National Numbers
That's just a coincidence, if it was number 47 or something then it would be weird, but typically 17 was the lowest number available other than 13 so yeah, usually someone who was hauling ass the year before would run 17 then go on to win the title.
Re: 2017 AMA National Numbers
Webb with #2 is like Baggett with #4, a bunch of talk when announced and no one cares now. It'll be cool to see #2 on a Yamaha again instead of a Honda or Kawi though.

Re: 2017 AMA National Numbers
lol, he hasn't done a thing in the premiere class yet (not including MXoN) so I wouldn't say he deserves it, but he is really fast. I've just heard quite a few things about how he is as a person and I'm not a fan.Anchor_b wrote:Lol you asshead, if anyone deserved it, it was Webb.AHeckman2 wrote:Can't believe that homo took #2...

No one took 8 or 9? Makes sense no one took 13, motocross riders are a superstitious bunch.

Webb was the only one that could have taken 2, 8, or 9. In the end he was thinking about 2 or 8, but he decided to go with 2.
Also Forkner was the only one that could have taken 13, but he chose to skip it so he could get 24 (his amateur number was 214, so it makes sense that he wanted 24).

And Savatgy will almost definitely keep that trend going in 2017, either in SX, Outdoors, or both. Why have no 450 guys been getting 17? Lol
