I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.
I broke my LB button like 2 years ago because I always went over the bars when I jumped. One day I had enough so I threw it to my couch but unfortunatly it landed on the table, bounced over the couch and smashed into the wall. My Y and B also cracked in the process but they still work.

I think I broke a controller a long time ago when I first started playing, and learned my lesson and haven't broken anything since. I only replace controllers when I feel as if they're worn out and need a fresh feel again.
Played for 7 years, 5 years with controller and I'm still using the same one. Bought a backup 360 wired controller since the xbox 360 has gone out of production Never broken anything when playing videogames. One mouse briefly had a seml-defect scroll wheel for a while, but it started working again. Also broke on or my keyboard keycaps when the 360 cord got stuck under it... But it worked to superglue it back on
