I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

2018 MX Discussion

Hangtown this week. What do you guys think? I'm calling Tomac for the title, without seen any of Roczen's progress. He might win too perhaps.

I feel like Roczen might struggle all year with the injury's he's sustained over the past year. I do think he gets a moto wins and a overall victory maybe at the later rounds. Tomac is going to kill it like always, no surprise if he wins round 1. I've heard Blake Baggett is on rails on outdoors and he's been training for 9 weeks on outdoors so he's little bit of ahead of everyone else on the testing and fitness. Justin Barcia I don't know why but i do feel like he's going to struggle a lot on outdoors, Jeremy Martin was 2 seconds a lap faster at Zaca station then him.

I really think AP23 is gonna have a great outdoor season after the sx title. He can go so fast especially if we get some deep rutted tracks or possibly rain. The one year at unadilla i believe, towards the end of the moto he was 4 seconds a lap faster than anyone else. And i think justin cooper will turn more heads if he is 100% healthy

Interesting with Jmart we’ll have to see! Would have been awesome to have MD and AC racing with PC team, i think AF can be more consistent this year and hes deff got the speed to be up there as well! Will be interesting to see what Marchbanks does as well ! I predict some top 5!

Y'all are sleeping on my dude Forkner. He's won before and definitely has the speed. I feel like he could potentially be a title contender if he stays healthy. If Tomac can keep from getting injured, I think he's the top guy for the overall. Flashback to '15 Hangtown where he won moto 2 by a minute and a half.

I'm going to call it, Jeremy Martin and Ken Roczen win the 250/450 titles.

Flashback to two weeks after that.

I'm super excited to see all of these guys coming off of injuries race at Hangtown! We got a fairly thin field at the front of the 450 class for most of the supercross series. Hopefully everyone can stay healthy for at least a majority of the series. (they won't)

It's funny looking at the timing of some injuries like Tomac's, and Roczen's bad crash when he was absolutely on rails. Just goes to show how intense the level of racing is these days. If you've ever ridden any of the pro tracks IRL, you'd know the pace some of these guys are running is insane. We can only hope everyone stays healthy. Seems like every year recently, the field is super thin due to injuries and its disappointing. Might be a sign some things need to change with everyone getting hurt.
