Bike dies when reving from idle

First ride on the bike yesterday, finally. I noticed that when it's idle and I give it a little gas, sometimes it just dies. Not like "blghrrrrhhhh" as when it's too cold and you rev, but it's just like it shuts off. What I find strange is that it isn't every time, but some. Also when I fire it up, sometimes it seems to almost get going (like it gets to 80% of idle rpm) but then it dies.

Any ideas what I'm experiencing?

Bike: 2015 CRF450 (kickstarter)

Sounds like the fuelpump or injector, had the same problems before and the first time I switched the filters in the fueltank and the second time (just a couple of weeks back) the injector was clogged.

Fuelpump/injector, do you clean it or do you replace it? The bike seems to fine run fine when it's up and going.

No lag or anything while riding? When my fuelpump was clogged it lost all power when on full throttle, landing after jumps or setting up for a jump for example. Seemed to work fine everywhere else. If none of that happens it's not the fuel pump, if it runs fine while riding it's not the injector.

Have you checked anything? Sparkplug, etc.

My knowledge of motors is limited, so wanted some advice where to start... Heh... Well, at a few times, it might have lagged a little bit, like no power came with the first 20% of the twist... Could maybe be the spark plug, when you say it..

A friend of mine had a similar problem the other day, he had some water somewhere in the fuel system.

Thanks. Hopefully my father-in-law comes this weekend and we can take look at what goes on. I'll keep this in mind :)
