2019 SX Discussion

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Has anyone ever tried rolling elements like a linear guide or a ball cage instead of plain bearing surfaces for the sliding fork tube?

I already told you the Cannondale Lefty does.

Seems like it might be worth going to a larger axle with the huge fork tubes. A little axle flex could make the forks go uneven/not parallel on side loads.

That was the most boring race I've watched in years.

Not a lot of passes, but I do like how tense a close race can get. It could've been any of the three KTM's tonight. Webb (much like AC and Forkner) seems to have the mental edge right now, and when everyone at the top is searching for tenths, that could be the difference between having five wins or having zero. I believe Musquin needed to get aggressive tonight if he wanted to legitimately contend for the win but like in the past, he's lacked the gusto to do so. His attempts to make contact tend to be half-baked, or lack the right timing, or in tonight's case an ugly mixture of both by bumping Webb at the beginning of the main event.

I just hate a track that you have to make a mistake on to get passed. There are so many one lined tracks that are getting produced it's absurd.

Ouch! Broken heel ain't nuthin' to sneeze at. I thought he might've popped his achilles tendon by the way he landed and was holding it.
