Mike Alessi

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Mike Alessi

Post by dearnhardtfan7 »

I don't know how many people have seen or heard about this yet, but Alessi went down hard in a scary crash on lap 1 of the second moto at Redbud. Alessi was alert and moving when they took him off the track. I always hate to see this type of crash and hopefully Mike will be okay. Also as youll see in the video, I want to send a shoutout to Ricky Renner (#75) for the display of sportsmanship for turning around and going back to check on Mike. It just goes to show that motocross riders are a very tight-knit group throughout all levels of racing. Anyway, hope you get better Mike and cant wait to see you back at the track.

very scary crash

Holy crap! I'm not a fan of Mike Alessi but that looks serious. It's hard to count how many times he got landed on. That is insane  Hope he wasn't hurt too bad though.

Oh, that's the one thing that scares me about the first lap.

I hope he's ok.

EDIT:

Did they red flag it?

Anyone know why it's taking motocross.com so long to get their Red Bud stuff up on their site?

Oh man, that video made me sick. He was hit and landed on so many times. If he comes out of that with no serious injuries, like career threatening injuries, I will be amazed.

Mega respect to #75 for returning to him instead of going on

I was there when it happened and I rushed down along the fence line to see if he was ok. He was unconscious for awhile but finally came too. It was so scary to see but the encouragement for him when he was transported off was amazing! He has really started to become a crowd pleaser lately and he is one of my favorite riders. It just makes me sick. Hopefully he comes back sometime soon, he had second in the championship locked up. How much you want to bet he wears a chest protector from now on?

I just can't stand stupidity.
They should just have to wear a sign saying, "I'm an idiot-be careful."

Between people spelling like they're 5, posting 1000x with useless crap, and just plain stupidity, it's getting ridiculous.
All I can say is thank you phpBB for the "ignore list"...works like a charm.

Did anyone watch the video Mike Alessi posted on his website? He is surprisingly in good spirits. He has a new patch for the seat of his pants that says "Speed Bump"
