Re: post pics of your bikes

Gave it to my dad a while back. He blew out his knees and sold it to his boss. Then bought a yamaha rhino for him and my mom. Funny thing is, this is frame #2 on the yz. I cracked the first one.Pumaxcs wrote:What happened to the KTM?

Pardon gyazo's posterizing.
Picked up this gem the other week, or maybe month by now. 2500 bucks, and I'd be surprised if it has 10 hours on it. Dayum.
In the process of making these for it, then gotta get em printed somewhere.
Re: post pics of your bikes
After a day of riding a local track, Morelands MX. We had a fair bit of rain this AM and as I rolled in the sun had broke and the temperatures rose. A couple of younger kids were just leaving complaining that after 1 lap the track was just too wet and sloppy to ride.
As an Ohio born I begged to differ. The track turned out quite nicely (with a few wet spots) but made for a good days ride. I know in the summer when it's dry and dusty I'm going to wish I had these days.

Re: post pics of your bikes
It's a 450, and thanks!
Can't go wrong with the 350 though. There are times I wish I went with the smaller displacement when I'm only riding once a week at the most.

Re: post pics of your bikes
I think the 350 is probably the perfect bike if you're not racing. That's probably what I'll aim to get if/when I eventually get back to riding.

Re: post pics of your bikes
Today got the whole bike done, now i just need to get the motor apart but (Stupid thing to say but im new to this engine type and stuff.. ) I got to find out how to do that without breaking anything, the flywheel/magneto what ever cover, couldnt get it out today, need to find out how and why it wasnt coming off.. But i plan to take it all apart, check all bearings and stuff, clean it GOOD (the old owner and me when i was lazy sick or stupid never cleaned it that good) , going for a bit of a "facelift" of it, changing the piston/everything in need of a change and checking the crank/all bearings and setting up the front end and revalving the shock.. basictly trying to do everything i can
Oh and DDMX, that bike looks good for a KTM
