post pics of your bikes

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

This is interesting. I was always under the impression that girls considered their vehicles to be male, but I never spend time around women, so I could never verify this. sob

And too many strokes. I don't mind that it's green though.

I could make a two stroke have too many valves. Actually, it's not that it has too many valves. They're just the wrong kind of valves.

How do you like Suzuki's? I'm split between 06+ RM250 and YZ250. Suzuki's just seem to show wear a lot more than other bikes.

People are claiming that RM has a weak gearbox. The cogs are too soft so the locking notches will wear out easily and gear starts slipping. But I don't know how serious the problem really is compared to other bikes though.

Zooks are all I've ever owned. I Get well looked after by the local shop here, so I've had no reason to change. From my experience of riding a few other brands the zooks will turn inside anything, but yeah, my rmz 250 had a weak gearbox, tooth split off and the gearbox locked up pretty far into 4th gear on a straightaway. In saying that my dad had an rmz 250 that did 298 hrs on one gearbox, and I've never had a problem with the Suzuki 2 stroke gearboxes. If you're going 250t Yamaha is a no brainer really, more modern, easier to source parts as they're still mass produced, and reliable. But you never really know if ya like a bike till you ride it. In saying that I've never found my bike lacking in power compared to others... until I started racing open B class on a 125. Only reason I'm getting that 250 is because I'm getting it for just over half what it's worth and I'm addicted to yellow.
