2014 rF MotoOption Supercross presented by Fly Racing
Re: 2014 rF MotoOption Supercross presented by Fly Racing
I think 19th in the 450 main deserves a lot more than 19th in the 250 main.
I don't mean to argue with the intent of bettering my own number for the 2015 season, as I probably will not be able to participate. I just want to understand your rationale for thinking that respective spots in each class should be equally rewarded when we all know that they're nowhere near equal.

I say keep points as is with the addition of Pro Licence only for 450's. The faster riders in the 450 class should keep the 250 riders from scoring extra points on opposite coast rounds, if they do score the points in the elite class they deserve them. If it really is coming down to the rational being that the 250 class is easy to score points and the 450 class is hard then bring back licences and have the riders spread between the class they belong in. It would be nice to see the 450 class with a consistent 22 rider field for the season, not 10 or so 450 riders that race the entire series and the rest being people who aren't racing 250's that week. Give more opportunity for the up and coming people to get a good placing and improve to the next level of competition. Right now the gap from riding a server to racing is too large in my opinion. That is my 2 cents worth.

I know my opinion probably doesn't matter, but, personally, I agree with August. Without AMs this year, any one-lap hero can get into the heats, then all they have to do is not wreck and they're straight into the main. I thought it was ridiculous how many people at the end of the 250 main at Detroit did not run under a minute hot lap. This makes it a lot easier for people like Smith to to get up to the front, whether he starts there or has to work from the back. When it comes to licenses, I agree with Peter. We need to make the racing better by bringing back AM racing. And I've actually been thinking about this for awhile. Everyone's worried with realism, so let's make it realistic. Pros in 450, As in 250, and the rest get AM events on local tracks whenever someone in association with rF can and feels like running one. Sween has a day off, decides, "I'll give the AMs something to do," makes a topic for an AM race on BriarcliffMX (just an example) for all AMs who want to ride 250f. So then you have two 15m+1l motos for 250C and 250B. And, assuming that there will be one this year, this would also give everyone some sort of heads up for Loretta's.

just sittin here reading after bangin my wife i mean hangin with the wife on our day off and since its open mic night for opinions, i got one. how about before the sx series starts, get a commitment from the riders. say for example Jack MeHoff is considered a "pro". but wants to go for or defend a 250 title, well he has to commit to 250's, either east or west ahead of time.....and by doing so he or she forfeits half of the opposing coasts 450 schedule. therefore giving that rider 4 450 races in which to attempt qualify for, thereby rewarding the 450 main stayers more so in the long run, well theory. i think this would take care of the points debate. but who the hell knows.

I don't care either way, but no changing = no bitching.
Either way, the handbags need to be put down girls and stop bitching, rf will make their own decision......

Last I knew, no one affiliated with rF cared to do anything for AM's. They had 3 chances with 3 different hosts and pissed them all off.mxsrider96 wrote:I know my opinion probably doesn't matter, but, personally, I agree with August. So, I wouldn't be looking to rF any time soon for the AM racing.

The problem is that the majority of am's are clueless assholes that are impossible to tolerate. No host will ever host something through Rf imo. They ruined it for themselves. (and also pros like you said.)

Devin you rolled every jump in your heat race last week because you were winning, and you have all of your RF stats in your signature. Don't tell someone they take something too seriously.
