Based on requests by riders to ensure more racing for their entry and to help alleviate some qualifying non-sense, the format has been updated. Now every rider (assuming we stay under 33 entries per class, most likely the case) will get atleast 4 races.

Stage 1: (if <= 33 riders in the class, skip to stage 2) --- highly unlikely to have over 33 in any class
If > 33 riders in any class:
A: The top qualifier will automatically have a reserved spot in stage 2
B: Riders will be split evenly into two "heats". A single elimination run on the Quali track will run. The top 16 in each heat will advance to stage 2 to join the top qualifier. Riders 17-33 will be eliminated.

Stage 2: (If <= 16 riders in the class present at UID grab, skip to stage 3)
A: All riders qualified for stage 2 will line up on the gate on the qualifying track for 4 "landrush" style races.
B: Points will be accumulated based on finishing position (1 pt for 1st, 2 pts for 2nd, 3 for 3rd and so on...)
C: The points for those four races AND A FIFTH SCORE BASED ON YOUR QUALIFYING POSITION FOR THE CLASS based on signups, not riders present, will be added together. Your qualifying position will serve as your 5th moto and tie breaker. The lowest score will get 1st seed into the bracket, 2nd lowest will get 2nd seed, and so on...
D: The TOP 16 SCORES will qualify for stage 3

Stage 3:
A. Riders will race head to head in a single race, winner stays loser goes format until only 4 riders remain.
B. The final four for each class will now compete in a best of 3 format during each stage of the bracket.

Bummed I won't be able to race this even though I already paid. Have a family emergency to go to tomorrow, and will unfortunately have to miss out on this. It's all good though, thanks Checkerz for this awesome event you decided to put on, look foreword to watching the stream though. Good luck to everyone tomorrow who is racing this!

I hope everyone is ready for the racing tomorrow. I've been extensively testing the format, so everything should go smoothly. Unplanned problems can always happen, but nothing has happened in testing so I'm hoping for a problem-free event. Just a final reminder that there are still some people entered who haven't made an MXSLobby account yet. The easiest way to avoid any problems with your entry is to get your account made with plenty of time to spare before the race.

Hey guys, for the actual bracket races, we will have a live display of the brackets thanks to a third party website. I will announce the two riders who will be competing right before they are set to line up, but if you want to know who you will be up against and when in advance, you can look at the bracket pages. The pages won't display any riders yet obviously because the top 16 are still yet to be determined during the event format.
