I decided to do a round 4 recap hope you guys like it
MXSRaces MXSGP Australian Series Round 4 Leon Race Recap
Image
Round four(4) of the MXSRaces MXSGP Australian Series series got under way at Leon, Mexico. The track was defiantly a difficult one for racers due to the High-altitude and blue groove hard pack that was baking in the sun all day. Also if that didnt make the track difficult enough it was extremely rough with sharp edge bumps and huge kickers in the jump faces that were doomed to sneak up on the riders. With the difficulty of the track it could open up opportunity's for someone else to possibly fight for a win. It looked to be true as Jarett Gasque set the fastest qualifying time of mx2 at a 1:38.4. As for the mx1 class Finn Collins the kid that's won the past four(4) moto's set the fastest qualifying time at a 1:35.3, over two(2) seconds faster than the second place rider Kevin Ferzacca that was at a 1:37.7. None the less it looked to be a good day of racing.
Image
Mx2 fastest qualifier Jarret Gasque

Mx1 fastest qualifier Finn Collins
As the gate dropped for moto one(1) it was the the Devin Ryan aboard the Relax Attire Kawasaki that would grab the holeshot followed by Jarret Gasque and Radek Cerveny. Devin would grab the early lead as Jarret Gasque would find problems in the second corner along with points leader Michael Buitendijk and Matthias Havy. Devin would pull his lead out even farther as second place rider Radek Cerveny had his bike step out from underneath him about half way through the first lap. As the riders came across the line for the first lap it was Devin Ryan Jarret Gasque and Alanas Saulys to round out the top three(3) of moto one. Half way through the moto Devin would find himself running into a huge problem with a lapped rider eventually causing him to lose the lead to Clint Martin aboard the Meta Honda. Clint has been on a streak of moto wins and kept that going as he went on to get another moto win. Clint missed the first two(2) rounds of the championship but isn't letting that stop him as he's making up points every moto. Devin came across the line behind Clint who is also closing in on the points lead. Jarret Gasque would round out the top three(3). Jarret also missed the first two(2) rounds and is eagerly trying to close in on the championship hunt. As for the points leader Michael Buitendijk would finish fourth(4) in moto one(1). Michael looked to be off the pace for moto one(1) as he was 1:09 seconds behind the third(3) place rider. Their was no doubt that Michael need to go back to the semi and make some changes for moto(2) if he wants to stay in the points lead heading into round five(5).
Image
Mx2 moto one(1) start
Moto two(2) got underway with Timm Friedrichs on team TheMotoView grabbing the holeshot and would lead the pack for the opening lap. Clint Martin would make the pass early in the race and out on an extravagant ride and lead the next thirteen laps and go onto yet again another moto win. Clint has won the past four(4) moto's and is closing in on the points lead very fast. Lets see if he can take all this momentum into round five(5). Behind Clint there were some great battles between Matthias Havy, Timm Friedrichs and current points leader Michael Buitendijk. The three(3) were switching positions every lap making for an interesting race. As they were battling it allowed Jarret Gasque close the gap down and making the pass into third(3) on lap seven(7). Second place rider Devin Ryan was not having the moto he was looking for as he found himself in seventh(7) about half way through the race. Closing in on the final corner of the race second(2) place rider Jarret would run into problems and have a crash allowing Michael Buitendijk to get around him. Michael fixed the problems he was having in moto one(1) and bounced back in moto two(2) showing he isn't going to give the point lead over easy. Jarret would cross the line in third(3) rounding out the top three(3).
Image
Devin Ryan leading moto one(1)
Mx2 top five(5) overall
1. Clint Martin | META (1-1)
2. Michael Buitendijk | Cycle Trader Yamaha (4-2)
3. Jarett Gasque (3-3)
4. Devin Ryan | Relax Attire (2-5)
5. Matthias Havy (8-4)
As moto one(1) got under way in the mx1 class Logan Heagney aboard his TLD GoPro KTM took the holeshot followed by Ben McLeod and Cliff Robinzine. The riders wouldn't run in those positions for long as their was a huge pile up in turn one allowing Cliff Robinzine to get into the lead coming out of turn two(2) followed by Dylan Copeland. Cliff would soon go down on the huge table allowing Dylan to capitalize on the mistake and take over the lead. Dylan tried to put some time on himself and the rest of the pack but his teammate Kevin Ferzacca would soon take over the spot. Finn Collins wouldn't wait long before making a few pass and catching right up to the back of Kevin and making the pass for the lead on lap one. Finn showed that he was the fastest guy on the track as he set the fastest time in qualifying and then leading the pack across the line on lap one. Kevin would follow closely to Finn hoping for a mistake to capitalize on and Robert Wilson would round out the top three(3) Finn would continue to grow his lead to over forty seconds by the end of the race putting on a school for the rest of the riders. Kevin would then gap the third place rider Robert who ran into trouble about half way through the race with a lapped rider. Robert would than fall back to fifth(5) place and Ben McLeod would move into third(3) followed by Josh Hamilton in fourth(4). The top five(5) would stay that way as they finished out moto one(1).
Image
Moto two(2) would start off with James Beston on Team SKDA taking the holeshot followed by Mick Skezz and Robert Wilson. Robert Wilson looking for redemption in moto two(2) after a bad first(1) moto would make some early passes and take over first(1). That wouldn't last long as Robert found himself on the ground letting Jake West and Mick Skezz by him. Mick Skezz would lead the riders across the line followed by Kevin Ferzacca and Jake West. As the riders would hit the finish line there was a huge crash collecting Mick and Kevin allowing Robert to get back into the third position. As things would settle down on lap two it was Finn back out front looking to do exactly what he did in moto one(1) as he lead over Robert and Kevin. On lap five(5) Kevin would get around Robert for second and pull a comfortable gap until the last lap were Kevin had a fall looking to let Robert by but unfortunately for Robert had a fall of his own. As the last lap came to an end it Was Finn with back to back moto wins followed by Kevin and Robert rounding out the top three(3).

Robert Wilson hard fought third(3) overall
Mx1 top five(5) overall
