Track of the Week #14 - Thursday October 2 - Perry's Dreamland 2 - Motocross

Post by jlv »

This is the "Track of the Week" series where we have casual races on a new track every week. If you're a newbie or just not that fast, this series is meant for you. Fast guys are welcome but since this is for casual players don't get mad if some squid on a 125 gets in your way!

This week we're riding Perry's Dreamland 2 Motocross.

Entry fee: FREE!
Registration: None! Just show up!
Bike class: Open!
Time: Thursday October 2, 2025 9:00 PM EDT
Server: elsinore.mxsimulator.com:19805
Track link: Perry's Dreamland 2

The track is running on elsinore.mxsimulator.com:19805 now. I'll use the lap times from there for the seeding if more than 40 show up. Planning on doing two 8 lap motos.

This is why you shouldn't miss these! Even after the 10th of October when Battlefield 6 launches, I will still be doing these!

Oops! Copypasta gets me again. That was from high school MX. The wall jump was right by the field goal.

I also have to correct Seth and pop his bubble (for only one week) because BF6 drops Friday after this.

I got a little ahead of myself too. Sometimes they just throw an extra week in there!

I kept eating it in the braking bumps but it was a pretty good track! I'll have to go check out the demo to see the moto 1 finish. Looks like it was a close one!

Thanks for racing!

Maybe I'll do that. I do kind of like to use tracks I haven't played before though!

Was fortwinton2012 the track with the fence object you were talking about? It doesn't look like it has a .shp file.

Windcott is where the fence is from but I can't get it to happen on a blank track, I'm beginning to think there is a certain amount of objects that need to be placed down before it starts happening. I've been using the "wall28x12r.shp" file from the 2011 Sx tracks and it's doing the same thing on my track with hundreds (actually over 1000) objects but nothing on a blank track. The track is almost finished, when I upload it you could see if it's happening to you too or I can send it to you privately.
