That came off a little harsher than it was intended, but I got the point across. I will apologize for seeming like a wide-set cunt

There is a very simple reason why I chose to let people race both nights. I personally would rather have two nights of racing, or something to do both nights rather than just one and I figured the majority of people would like this as well. Also, it gives everyone something to do throughout the week with open qualifying for night 2.

They are called Night 1 and Night 2 :p. Night 1 is King of SX and Night 2 is Prince of SX. Also, mxsrider96 is right. I do like it being two separate series. It's nice to be able to redeem yourself if you find yourself making mistakes for night 1. Like for me, my initial goal was to be top 5 in the standings by the end of the series. Since I didn't have the best result for night 1, I'm hoping to start fresh on night 2 and have different results.

When it comes to training in your particular class for supercross I would think this format will be a great way to prepare for 2016 SX. At least when it comes to qualifying. I agree that it is frustrating to get knocked out because of a 450 rider dropping down but with it being tougher to qualify for the 250 Pro Class that's going to make qualifying for RF SX in 2016 much easier. You will get to use our series to practice with the top guys in both classes and then when it comes RF SX, they will be divided leaving you with less people to worry about. I do see where you're coming from though, I really do. I wish it was much easier to qualify for the 250 pro class but again, I would rather have the chance to compete on both nights rather than just one.
AHeckman2 wrote:And there's quite a few sandbaggers in ams as well, sub 1:35 is pretty nuts for ams. I simply dropped to ams just so I CAN RACE.
I also agree about sandbaggers in Amateurs. This seems to be an issue with many Pro/Am events and it can be tough to deal with. We are working on making this class as fair as possible.
AHeckman2 wrote:And allowing 250 2 strokes in lites sucks as well, since when has a 250 2 stroke EVER been allowed in real lites races IRL?
We allow 250 2 strokes in the 250 class for a couple reasons. We did it last year and we didn't see any issues with it. Also, the 250 2 stroke isn't used much in the game. Even when we offer it in the Lites class, the majority of people still tend to use the 250f. By allowing the 250 2 stroke in the lites class, riders will be able to use a model/dyno that isn't used very often in Sim.
AHeckman2 wrote:Just things I've been thinking about trying to get prepared for tonight in which quite a few people have agreed with me on. :?
I appreciate the feedback and I will definitely take this into consideration for future events. I apologize that you are unhappy with a few of the rules and formats that we've set but I hope you can still enjoy the rest of our series! Awesome edit by the way.

Thanks,
Blake

Thanks very much Blake! Really appreciate that you took the time to write all of that, you're one of the best hosts I've ever seen so far for sure! :D

This is the first time I've been on sim for your series, and it seems like a really great series. You know how to host, you know how to make killer tracks, and you get a massive turnout due to the tracks and good hosting. Because of the massive turnout, lap times will be faster, qualifying will be harder. I was impressed so many people actually showed night one, only two people in top 40 didn't show up in ams, that is impressive for a sim race. I am on the fence about letting people run both nights, but I can't really argue with the success it is bringing lol. I'll have to step up my game if I plan to qualify, plain and simple. Keep up the good work on the series.

Jordan Vanderlee said something, back in 2014 I think, along the lines of, "punish the rage quitters." I realize it would be hard to come up with a fair punishment, as they may have quit one race but may not quit the next, but it sucks how I got fucked up hard in my heat and lcq and didn't make it, but three people who did make it rage quit. Sure, I wouldn't be one of the three that would get to take their place, but the guys who were 5th, 6th, and 7th in the lcq probably would've loved those spots. I think some sort of punishment should be set for rage quitters, such as, "Starting at round 2, anyone who quits out of the main events will be banned from racing the next round," or something along those lines

I'm going to add to Blake's post since last year I helped him get this all put together and rolling.

The 250 2 strokes were allowed because:
- It is a model that doesn't get used often
- It is allowed in US Amateur racing, Canadian pro racing, Australian pro racing
- It isn't an overwhelming amount of guys using it showing that it is a huge advantage

Two nights were because:
- It's fun to see the "pros" of the game ride both sized bikes. It's nice to see the top 250 guys race the top 450 guys on both sized bikes where each are "experts"
- While we enjoy the limited qualifying, once you run the race the track "dies" in a sense and many guys never play it again. This sucks once you put weeks into a track. This allows a track to get played throughout the week to prepare for the other night of racing.
- Yes, it would be nice to see more guys get a chance to race. Blake is working on ideas to make this happen. Adding another class means making an already lengthy (2-3 hours) event longer. At some point it gets too long. It's a balance. Again, Blake is working on some ideas.

As far as sandbagging goes, I've been around a long time and I honestly didn't really see anyone who didn't belong racing Ams tonight. While qualifying seemed harder than it should be, I didn't see it in the race at all. Where do you draw the line? It's hard to say, but the current rule keeps a nice consistent rule in place. If you start looking at guys individually it can get pretty messy. I do think it could be better if the amount of entries would be a bit more even.

I don't see what the deal is with 250 two strokes, the top two qualifiers and race winners were on a 250f. Unless you know how to ride them it's a disadvantage.
