Only out of respect for rF will i not say anything more then needed.
Only a few people know the truth on the rules/guidelines I MUST abide by, unless you want a multi-billion dollar company breathing down your neck, and also other people's neck aka MxSim/rF ? You guys releasing similar videos to these are actually hurting me/rf/mxsim/everyone in all honestly (yes you have every right to make them also, like you already do) but then because its looks like I have gone behind peoples backs and not followed specific rules i was given and then its hurts everyone and credibility.
its nothing personal... you just don't understand business or the supercross/motocross industry.
and plus im doing triple the work covering for jeff on recaps ontop of previews im atleast and already 20 hours + in videos just this past 2 weeks with 14 more to go, ontop of my personal life. As well as everyone in rF dedicates a huge chunk of their own life.
like others in the community have stated, everyone should just be more grateful about things because most of you wont & cant dedicate your personal time as other people do to get things done for a greater good.
btw ddmx its a fraps issue i made a topic about it. If you figure a way around it lemme know.

I'll do the preview videos, since you are being overworked. I would like do the race recaps but my PC is to slow to record 20 people on the track at once.JB323 wrote:Only out of respect for rF will i not say anything more then needed.

Im sure the rules and guidelines leave enough room to be somewhat creative, using that as an excuse is pretty lame. Being featured on vurb, I'm sure they want something that holds to their video standards.
Saying that other people are hurting rF by releasing previews is garbage.
Like i said, I would be happy to do the previews and make sure they a up to par. I like how you try to turn the blame on the community when you took the job in the first place. Nice try.JB323 wrote:everyone should just be more grateful about things because most of you wont & cant dedicate your personal time as other people do to get things done for a greater good.

Re: Round 3 - MotoOption MXS SX Series presented by Vurbmoto
Just got a couple questions for the 2012 tracks so far.
1. Is it just me, or does it seem like these tracks only suit the people that have been playing this game for a year or two?
2. Why is Round 3 so slick? Or is that just the normal friction map? Could it be made with a little more grip?
3. What fun is this series for the ones who just got into the game? Would anyone out there be down for having an amateur series?
These are not complaints, just some things I've been wondering about.

What job ? I don't see myself getting paid ? I started doing these videos way before race factory was created even before checkerz was around, Checkerz is a great personal friend that lives down the road from me so we teamed up with sween and wheels to organize a group so we didnt have a million seperate ideas going on and be posted everywhere. i started doing these Virtual Laps back with jlv personally almost 3 years ago ? You know that because you sent in demos to me when because id would take requests for demos and everyone would have their 15 mins on vurbmoto.DJD wrote: I like how you try to turn the blame on the community when you took the job in the first place. Also hmm lemme put it in this way for you since you don't comprehend this.
For two weeks straight we go back n fourth dealing with compromises changing and making accommodations not to piss off people, then once that is done. Someone else cough or whoever go and throw it up a their verison. So this makes it way back to xxx the next day after we just handled xxx plans. Even though its not directly rF or myself or anyone specific, it is out there after we just worked our asses off trying to please XXX.
Now please tell me how that looks upon rF or myself or anyone ? If i was a 3rd party id say it looks shady to me, so that doesn't hurt our rep what we are trying to achieve or the community ? (like i said everyone allowed to do there own thing, but it just might be doing more damage that is all)
Please enlighten me where there featured on vurb, We are in a battling process to keep them featured because after 3 years we have became legit ?
Now give me a apology for being a bitchass and everything is forgiven.

There have been people who get the hang of SX after a couple of weeks.Reaper wrote:Just got a couple questions for the 2012 tracks so far.

It's a pro series. If you can't handle it, then its not for you.

JB/DJD, not exactly the time or the place for this. If you guys want, I am sure the whole rF team would love to have a conversation with both of you offline.
Back to the racing.
I don't think it is so much people who have been playing the game that these tracks benefit. Markham, Jeremy and Tysen are all pretty new and have been going extremely fast. Do they have an advantage? I'd say so, simply because they know JLV's style of tracks by this point.
As far as an amateur series. I like the idea. I am not positive if anyone at rF has time to run it is the only issue. We are already dumping a ton of time into this series - not complaining, because we all knew it when we started the site, just saying adding another series would be quite a task at hand. Ideally, that's the point of the Lites class.

That's really not something that needs to be aired out in the open. I will only say that Vurb and rF have been working dilligently to try and resolve some issues so that the previews can once again be featured in the limelight on Vurb's main page. For the time being they will live on the Gamer's Channel and spread virally around the web. The Live Broadcasts will continue to be featured on Vurbmoto.com every Thursday night along with the now half hour long One Industries Pre-Race Show.haydugjr wrote:So what exactly are you trying not to piss off? Oh really? As I recall, vurb grabbed my video of A1 and featured it as a preview all those years ago. Then someone else started making them as well.JB323 wrote:i started doing these Virtual Laps back with jlv personally almost 3 years ago ?
What? Is it just a matter of logos? I'm talking about the footage of the track itself. Not the politics of logo placement. I'm have trouble understanding with the way you wrote that.JB323 wrote:For two weeks straight we go back n fourth dealing with compromises changing and making accommodations not to piss off people, then once that is done. I thought vurb was featuring these every thursday with the live feeds. If not, my mistake.JB323 wrote:Please enlighten me where there featured on vurb, We are in a battling process to keep them featured because after 3 years we have became legit ?
With all due respect, go fuck yourself. I merely gave my honest opinion, I never insulted you personally. Calling me a "bitchass" just further illustrates your unprofessionalism. (Is that a word? LOL)JB323 wrote:Now give me a apology for being a bitchass and everything is forgiven.

Shouldn't the lites class only allow, lets say, the last 750 UIDs or so. Then it would be much more fun for the beginners. Then they could have a chance at making the races.Ideally, that's the point of the Lites class.
Just an idea.
