Re: Team E&E Services/TSR Honda UPDATED 3/1/12

Post by Jaruro38 »

I know very good to read... But well thats not the point, the point is that you say that you ride 1:30 like it was good enought.
And i am not giving shit to anyone i only ask to you if you think that is fast to be in a team.Ok man good luck
Btw this is a forum so the people can ask.. Maby the one who have to learn to read? WTF!

I see people on teams post all the time that they run 1.00's to 1.10's on these new SX tracks.
I'm only 0-20secs off their times depending on the track. So Yes I feel like I'm good enough to be on a team.
Just because I think I'm good enough to be on a team, doesn't mean I think I'm good enough to race events.

Plus if you would read once again, I said I have almost topped the very steep learning curve of this game.
I have no doubt that If I were to practice with a team for a month, I would be able to break through the last of the learning curve and be running 1.00's

I never said I wanted to compete in events right now. Events are what you need speed for; not Teams.
Problem is that most teams only take on riders that will be competing in events so your view is flawed...
The only way to get better is to ride with better riders. If you ride with people who never crash, then you're more likely to try not to crash. Thus making you ride better.

*Wise Old Sage Advice*
If more teams took on 1 or 2 slightly slower riders to practice with them, We would see an increase in overall community rider happiness and skill level.
You would have way less goons on the servers always causing crashes. Ever think about that?
I'm not saying the teams have to race these slower riders in events; nor should they. I'm just guaranteeing you that you would see a more talent popping up.

I totally agree with you, but many players have had to learn without the help of some pro. :)

I understand that and I'm not saying they should just give out free lessons. But If teams would start taking on 1 or 2 "prospects" that aren't quite event ready yet, that they would see a lot of unseen and/or untapped skill popping up.
I'm not saying they should take on some 12 year old who can't beat a 1.30. I'm talking about REAL prospects. People who are mature, understanding, patient, ambitious, and ready and willing to put in the time to get good.

My problem is that I haven't gotten my bike settings dialed in good. I bet if I ever finish that, I would be a lot faster.

RewRew you're welcome for all the free bumps :)

Who are you to decide what is "fast enough" for my team? Bottom line is you were rude and spoke out of place, no need it that.

Re: E&E Racing Honda

Post by rewrew421 »

Lets go babyyy, get pumped up for Houston!!

Looking to get a couple E&E Hondas in the main this week! James looks like hes gonna have no trouble getting into a heat and if last week is any insight on the future look for this rider in the main! Next we got JV he had a hard crash last week but has been determined in practice, he's lookin more consistent this week, look for him to make the main as well. Next we got Drew(rew) he's lookin fast as ever and really constant all through practice this past week with a little luck hopefully we can see him grab a spot in what would be his first main of the season. A new face you should also keep an eye on is the number 909, tread-head, he's lookin really good this past week with a little luck we may see him slip into his first SX event of his career!

Like to give a quick shout out to Ben at TSR and our own Jacko at EER for hookin us up this week with some sick skins(unreleased ATM)

Also like to say thanks to Honda for hookin our lites riders up with a 250 mod(350) bike for when the east coast goes back west!
