I really would appreciate it if rF brought back the am. series. The ARS sounded like a good idea at first, but it isn't any fun when less than 5 guys show to the races. Most people are saying just get faster and then you can ride with the pros. For some people it isn't that easy. I've had this game for a few years and sure I've gotten better but i know i will never have the speed to race with the pros. I'm just putting in my opinion and saying that it would be awesome if rF came back with an am. series because hopeful it would help some of the riders and make people stop complaining. If they don't bring it back it wont be the end of the world, but it would be awesome if they did!

Yeah, your right, some people will never reach the pro level because they just don't have the ability. Me for example, ive had this game since october 2012 and started racing online in January of 2013. I know that even though I have gotten pretty good since then and have had some great races, I will never have the speed to run in the pros. But you have to remember that this game is about having fun, I enjoy racing in it simply because I love motocross and the game is fun to race people in. If I was going to be a pro at it, I would have been a long time ago, but the thing is, even when amateur events do take place, whether in RF, or EMF, or even anywhere else, are full of sandbaggers anymore, many of which could run the pro class, which gets back to my point, you have to forget about that kind of stuff and have fun, if there is an amateur series, great, if not, oh well, not the end of the world, just have fun doing the fun races people put on, as well as the ARS. This is why I hardly ever complain about things like this, just not really worth the time, because you can't please everyone and make everything perfect to suit everyone.

Don't mean to take sides but
1. It helps amatuers to push harder to qualify
2. like how rf does it now, REALLY professional, Livestreams and everything make it awesome.
3. Most of the time some of the riders that qualify don't come to the race, which means u might be able to race

ARS is a replacement/ improvement to an amateur championship. its just that most Ams are to stupid to realize this. seems the majority doesnt realize theres points, and a championship. and if we could actually get enough people to race, then there would be split classes and you would get to actually race with people around the same skill as you.

i think they just need to advertise, and set it up on the site the same way as the hosted series to trick people into racing ars. like, set it up with the name (Rf ammeter championship) and a time (say, Tuesday at 9 pm est.) but have the sign ups linked to ars. making the standings easier to find would probably help also. not that its complicated, but apparently nobody looks around and just assumes there isnt any.

Make your own events. The community needs some more legit races other than Rf. That is why Emf and Central are always a good change up. When i just got the game there was no amateur events for anyone, so you had to try hard to go fast. It does not really accommodate the people who do not want to put the time in.

Some of you guys should give hosting an event on your own a shot. If you need servers, there are plenty of people out there that would help out i'm sure. Just because Rf is not hosting an AM event, doesn't mean there can not be one.

IMO the AM series wasn´t that fun anyways, simply because the kids in AM isn´t smart enough. I was in contention of the championship last year, together with Root and some others, but It was totally ruined by people who didn´t care about the series. People doing the most stupid passes and even guys going backwards on the track made it just as random as a race in 03. IMO if you´re not fast enough to qualify for pro, you´re not fast enough to run a pace for the whole race which is meaningful at all.

It´s such a bummer that people don´t show for ARS races, because as some others said here, it´s not fun to race with just 5 or less people. This isn´t rFs fault at all, because I´ve never met any problems with ARS, and it´s always working as a charm.

The problem is that when people actually do host an event, the same people that complain about there being no am events don't ever show. I hosted a couple races back in January and ended up getting like 10 people to one and 9 to the other, and most that show are pros. I was even thinking about getting a server from Yohan, and mabye having some series for amateurs myself, but then if I get one and people don't show, it's a big waste of money. (was using a home server before and it wasn't a fast enough for some people not to lag once I got over 10 people) Logan Heagney Regularly has events and half the guys that come are pros, these same amateurs that complain never show up anyway. If 15 people showed up, about 7-8 were pros, and only half of the people that end up coming are am's. People (amateurs) don't seem to realize they have to actually come to amateur events/ series in order to make them work.

I think alot of these guys that are not showing want a legit race. Alot of these races that are being held have no planning, or structure. If you were to take the time and host a AM event lets say a few weeks down the road and put out a legit effort, then i think people would show.

Pretty dumb how they make a post that half the time doesn't even say a time or server and it's 1 hour notice and they wonder why three people show up..

yeah i think thats the biggest point, structure. i'll be honest, i havent rip'd ass to the nearest "local" event primarily because of the lack of structure....or more honestly my assumption that there is lack of structure. and i also believe like devin and matt said, if someone was to put together a well thought out deal and see it through....more people would def join. i would for sure. but it would have to be legit, and not some 13 yr old throwin somethin together lol.

the ARS is great. the lack of turnout is not so great. but i cant say that im there every week either, but if the race was only 1 night per week and for points i know i would tryhard in attempt to make it. but thats mainly because you know the turnout is gonna be there. i cant tell u how many times ive sat in the ARS loby ready to join, only to see 3 or 4 people signed up.....i just usualy walk away from my pc or hit up BF4. i personally would rather get lapped 11 times by downen smith and nash (thats never happend, well maybe once) in a 15 gate main than win a 3 man main event. but thats just me.

rF isn't nearly as appreciated as they should be(not being a rF fan boy, just sayin). i dont see why they would bring the AM's back when they put together the ARS and it doesnt get used the way it should be. not to mention the live stream they put together only to have 30 people show up every week. gonna suck when they do away with that cuz im that guy who is screaming at the monitor when there is no live stream lol. luckily this week i was able to get into the server and watch.

THIS! Until ARS races are 3 servers deep at least once a week don't complain. There is a system in place (ARS) for amateurs, it's just no one races it. They'd rather bitch about not having this or that instead.

I was planning on trying to host one a while back, It was going to be a shootout type race. I had the track ready, had classes planned out, just never learned scripts, and couldn't find someone that knew how too and was available.

So if you actually know how too use them, and have a server that can handle the race, pm me and we can try to get something going.

Honestly I think they took the wrong approach with the whole ARS thing. If they can run an ARS race why not it be a legit AM series automatically ran? Screw the whole every hour thing and do it once a week like the pros. No host needs to be there and nobody has to see their bitching and whining. Makes it more of a challenge for amateur riders and would make it cool to watch as well.

If they can make it automatic then why not?
