In situations like these, there are 4 options. 3 of them I'd recommend. Unfortunately, you chose the fourth.

Option A) Break out the coffee and get it on.
Option B) Build some sick tracks or find someone else willing to, build a sick hosting website or find someone else willing to, build the event at your preferred time or find someone else willing to.
Option C) Complain on the forums and look stupid.
Option D) Realize you can't compete in all events, and this one might not work out. Suck it up and keep your lips sealed.
