how do you use an x box 360 controller?

when you turn the consule off doesnt it turn the controller off 2?

if your controller dont work, i suggest going out and buying a logitech controller, they are really good, they are plug and play and radio shack sells them for 22 dollars

Stevoktm it doesn't work like I do what you say
and it doesn't work because you say at the end
turn the controller on and then you turn xbox
on and when I turn the controller on it turns
the xbox on . And you say to turn xbox on
when it allready is? I am confused any help?

No what i meant was if it is wireless it may be connecting to your 360. So unplug your 360 from the power then try to connect it to the pc.

I tried that and it just keeps blinking and there
is nothing conected to the xbox? Do I need a adapter?
