If the rule changed from 300 points total to 300 points in the past three years, then Tony and I would have technically never pointed out according to the prior 3 years rule. Does the point out system carry over when you change the requirements?Jeremy150 wrote:Correct Devin, you and Spinelli were pointed out in 2017. Correct, if this rule was used in 2017 you wouldn't have pointed out. However, once someone is bumped out of a class they can't drop back down.

No worries, I just wanted to clarify since the rules changed. I guess I'm getting back into 450 flow until A1Jeremy150 wrote:Correct, if this rule was used in 2017 you wouldn't have pointed out. However, once someone is bumped out of a class they can't drop back down.

I get having a point cutoff for Am's but I do think 100 is low considering there are people who got 100 points without getting a top 5, but were just consistently like 13th the whole season. Also, what's the pro quali situation? The hour before the race still or from whenever the track comes out? Trying to figure out if 5:30PST is the start of qualifying or the start of racing.
