maybe if you spent less time on the forums and more time making tracks they might be decent
Who are you again? I'm gonna go have a drink and I'd like to thank you for buying it
Damn it Chex, I told you that's what you guys are spending my $25 on, don't spend this guy's money on good PBR, spend it on diapers for your kids to crap in!

Haven't ridden either version of the track yet, just commenting on the traction argument. If any of you young lads were around back in the day before the tileinfo file, you would know the traction on every track was pretty much like the stock tracks. The 2010 track competition were some of the first "well known" tracks to use this, and most of them had pavement traction because everyone was tired of how slippery previous tracks were. When the newness of sticky traction wore off it went back towards being more realistic. I personally haven't liked the traction used for the nationals this year, it's grippy until a fine line then lets loose. I'd much rather have a tileinfo that's looser all around because imo it's easier to tell where the limit of too far is, rather than railing and randomly finding it and crashing. All you new kids are so used to super tacky traction you don't know what it's like to ride on something that actually feels like dirt.

Then again this is coming from a guy who has yelled at his front wheel probably at least 10,000 times the past 7-8 years.

motokid499 wrote: Chex, you said millville was your last track? I say you build the track however you want to build it with zero fucks. Make it exactly how you invision a motocross national in mxs should be. Then just dont log onto the forum for a week. Fuck em. I for one would be extremely curious as to the result and it would be a great point to build off of
But don't stop making tracks. IMO Redbud is sick, as well as the other five nationals.

Ive been trying to be patient and give good feedback, but when you make a perfectly good track, and then go and just make it complete shit pavement traction, it fucking sucks. I know i sure as hell wont be racing on this shit.

Ha, need a new keyboard? Looks like your caps lock key broke. I can probably help you out with that.

This reminds me of people who always blame the track in real life just because they suck.

Great work on the track this week Checkerz. With the updated traction it is definitely better IMO. Definitely my favorite so far. The ruts and bumps are definitely one of some of the best of the year IMO. I do have some complaints though.

My first complaint is more of a rider error but I think it could easily be fixed.
Image
I feel like everything to the right of the red line should not be there. I've had countless times where I go through the corner and hit my handlebar on the inside. I think this change would help with consistency overall.

This section could be done better IMO.
Image
As it is right now it is just way to one lined right now. I think the inside could definitely be not as rough. As it stands right now the outside is way faster just because of how easy it is to get into.

This hay bale could definitely be moved over.
Image
IMO it kind of makes the line funnel to the right side. This hay bale was initially frustrating but after a few laps on the track I did figure it out.

Image
The middle rut has a weird curve to it. IMO it should be like the inside rut.

Image
Image
The acceleration bumps are a little to big IMO. When they are this big it makes it inconsistent. Some laps you will hit them perfect while others you will slide out.

Image
These bumps coming out of the rollers are a little sketchy sometimes. I think they are just a little to inconsistent for racing.

I believe that is Kyle Robb (I may he wrong) a champion racer with the potential to win any race he shows up for and now he gets the golden fucking star for best constrictive criticism all season. Everyone take notes and stop bitching (yes I'm bitching about your bitching, but fuck you I'm Mom, bitch is in the title)

Was waiting to see this... I wonder where the motivation level is for rF.
