You do realize that we had ams for one year and just pro for what 4-5 now? yea sorry but your logic of "no ams= RFG falling apart" sounds pretty stupid imo.

i thought the nationals last year were pretty smooth (compared to SX), was super simple, there was the 250&450 pro, and 250&450 am, but i gave up this battle a long time ago.

MX PRODIGY 17 wrote:Honestly I think they took the wrong approach with the whole ARS thing. If they can run an ARS race why not it be a legit AM series automatically ran? Screw the whole every hour thing and do it once a week like the pros. No host needs to be there and nobody has to see their bitching and whining. Makes it more of a challenge for amateur riders and would make it cool to watch as well.

If they can make it automatic then why not?
I think that's what they were going for. It would get to the point where people would actually get split up into pro, intermediate, beginner. But, I've seen maybe 3 races that actually had more than one class, and in all those situations, I was still stuck with someone who consistently qualifies for pro mains. Although, if they were to do the once a week, apply points accordingly, that'd be great. I feel like I could actually be a title contender in C Class this year, and I'd love the chance to prove myself

I honestly LOVED the way Jon did his amateur system in the GP's All 250 riders are all in one qualif, and top 40 go to pro, while 41-81 go to amateur. BEST amateur system in MXS IMO. Same with 450 riders. Assigning licsences sounds all to confusing for a game. Plus as stated before, some of the guys in amateurs are way faster then half the pros. Its stupid. Of course you will get those sandbaggers running slow laps in qualifying if we do it Jons way, but IMO beats all other amateur systems in mxs that ive seen. Ill support bringing back amateurs, but only if we do it this way, no licences.

That wasn't really an AMAT system. He actually had AM GPs. 41-60 in both classes got to be in MX3, so it was more like a "You got close, here's your chance to prove yourself" system

to be honest the whole "run it yourself / get faster" attitude is going to destroy this games community. i will that we are entitled to rF running these events, i will side with them that some one has to step it up because it is slightly unrealistic to ask them to do everything. However, having guys saying get faster is going to bring this game down, if i had the time and resources to run AM events i would. but i don't. in reallity i think what would work best is a site similar to MXS central or RF that focuses on AM racing and nothing else. If you try to spout out bs that its not fair to Pro riders, good it shouldn't be. AMs have kind of been shat on for quite some time now, and it seems really bad this year in my opinion, its hard to want to get better if you can never race.

Is rF entitled to run any events in general?

Unless you're willing to put the time and effort into building a structure and running the events, I don't want to hear anyone bitching or pointing fingers saying it needs done.

Just think, the work of getting the tracks together, built, packaged, and released is already done for you. You just have to run the qualifying and events.
