I noticed it says 250 2-stroke for only the 450 A class and no 250 2-stoke for 250F A class but at lorretas like the AM classes you can ride the 250 2-stoke in the 250F A class just wondering if we will be able to do this also?
There's a typo on the sign up page, 450 A is 250 2-Stroke and 450 4-Stroke (it says 250 4-stroke, but use common sense).
Also, you can run a 250 2-Stroke in the 250 Amateur class, but you can't use a 250 2-stroke in the 250 A class. Just how I wanted to do it, sorry if you don't like it.
So, a few questions.
Is there going to be a way to find out how many people have signed up per regional? Reason being is like, IRL there's only a maximum of like 64 people that can qualify for the regional in the northeast as an example, since there's a limit on the Area advancement of 8 and there's 8 area qualifiers. Biggest problem is that there's a chance everyone picks the same regional, and 40 dicks have to battle it out to qualify when only 5 show up to another.
With that being said, what's the qualifying amount per regional? Like, obviously 10 at each of the 4 makes sense, but with what I just noted above, maybe it should be skewed based on how many people show up to each race. Example, the amount of people that show up at the regionals in a specified class are 60, 30, 15, and 15. If you take 10 from each, it's not as even as if it were 20, 10, 5 and 5 to make up for how many people showed up.
I understand im overlooking this, but if you can clarify this a little bit with some set of "rules" or something DDavis, that would be sweet. I don't wanna be one of the 60 to show up for one of the regionals and then some rando shows up when there's 10 people and he auto gets in.
Thanks for reading all of that shit^^^^, if anyone did at all
True man, if 40 show up I can make it where top 15 make it in, while the other regional might be around 12 guys, and I can possibly make it top 5 for that region? We'll see.
Possible option is have all of the regionals close sign up before the first one, then run them all with no "guaranteed" spots and then based on how many people were in each region, make so that it's skewed to be fair for everyone. That way people wont know they made the "fast 40" until they find out how the other regions did. OR, other best option, is to have signups for them all close the night of the first one, then see how many people signed up for each one, and assign how many spots based on that before anyone races. <--- Best option IMO
Here's total # of sign ups for each class (all regions combined)
Schoolboy 1 - 52
250 Amateur - 50
450 Amateur - 31
250 A - 14
450 A - 11
Open Pro 2 Stroke - 28
Open Pro Sport - 17
I don't want to list who is in each region, because EVERYONE will be switching to try and get the "weakest division". You'll find out who is racing which region when you line up.
