"Sim is not a job. If you don't get paid for making tracks and you're crying about it then stop making tracks. Like I said before sim isn't you're job, why don't you go out and get a real job"~ Jack
I 100% agree with Jack. That $25 doesn't guaranty a spot in the show. So you spend that $25 and you don't make it. Well looks like you wasted $25. I bought sim for $42 and i'm not going to spend more money to race a race or get the tracks, and I know many others won't spend that money either. I'm disgusted with what sim has become.

You think guys who pay to enter an ama national go and cry to the officials for their money back when they don't qualify? For fuck sake it's how things had to be for new tracks to be made at all. Be greatful that they are releasig them for free at all.Gosche1234 wrote:"Sim is not a job. If you don't get paid for making tracks and you're crying about it then stop making tracks. No-one is forcing you to pay, and even if you do your $25 is not wasted. You still have the track and the opportunity to race the consi.

I think paying is retarded, down right retarded. what if the guys that aren't very good wanna try to get better? Or us seventeen year olds that are living on our own? sometimes your don't have $25 to waste.

You just compared real life to a video game. You made a invalid statement that made no sense. To be honest if I was a new player and I had to pay for tracks. I would not even buy the game cause how dumb this is.Ohagan75 wrote:You think guys who pay to enter an ama national go and cry to the officials for their money back when they don't qualify? You don't have to pay for the tracks. That's where you're wrong. You get the tracks for FREE regardless if you're going to be a cunt about it or not.

Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
are you guys open to doing what you did for st. judes and if we don't pay by a certain round our points will get erased? It just seems like after reading through the forum there's quite a few people who are tight on money for the next couple weeks but will have money by then to pay for their membership. Would be sick if you could do that for me cause I'm moving back to california in one day and I'll be broke for 2 weeks until I get paid from my job. Definitely support paying the membership fee though because over the last 2 years the tracks have just gotten better and better and I can only see it progressing more from here. Everyone gets paid, everyone gets laid.

This thread has been really fun to keep up with. Glad I grabbed my popcorn and a comfy chair for this one.

Yeah you get them for free but you have the wait a month to get them. You have a point about getting the track. Waiting a month to get the track is stupid.nickuzick wrote:You don't have to pay for the tracks. That's where you're wrong. Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
Don't bring real life into it. People that pay in real life think they at least have a chance, and even if they don't qualify they still had a hell of a time riding a national track. At least release the tracks a day, maybe a week after the race. Not a whole month. And we are grateful that people release free tracks. We're just saying some creators complain about not getting payed, when making tracks isn't a real job. It's nothing more than a hobby.Ohagan75 wrote:You think guys who pay to enter an ama national go and cry to the officials for their money back when they don't qualify? Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
The series these tracks are made for replicate the real ama nationals so i harldy feel that was an invalid argument. As uziuk said you don't have to pay at all, you will still get the track like usual, just a month or so later.Gosche1234 wrote: You just compared real life to a video game. Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
Jack would you rather them get paid, well below minimum wage i might add, and have new tracks every year, or would you prefer to continue to ride ild travks because all the decent creators have left the community?
