I really need to learn how to stay calm during these things. Once Squirrelboy jumped into me from not looking ahead, I was so dissapointed and mad that I could barely ride...Went from almost last on the start cause Robert is a retard and though he had the holey, and cut over on everyone, to 3rd place closing in on 2nd. Then that happened, I fell apart again with rage, and haydugjr, the 21st ride, had something to prove in riding up my ass, landing on me twice....so lame. Tell you one thing, I won't be leaving you guys too much room at future races...
To be honest, I don't remember landing on anyone  I was just trying to get out of 21st. But yea, I understand how that can be frustrating. What's your number?
13

First time is forgiveable I suppose, though following DIRECTLY behind someone is never really a good idea incase they double and you still triple...The 2nd one tho was bad, you jump to the inside of me and just knock me over. For position it would be dirty, when you are in 21st and I'm in 11th trying to get back to the top 5 where I was before squirrelboy jumped into me....frustrating. I'm over it now, with the way guys ride in the races I guess I just need to hope for luck, or be the fastest dude in the race and just run away from everyone

Sucks to come to the conclusion that that's what is takes to get out clean from people who make stupid decisions now... Hoping to see that license system next year.

I don't race this series (or anything right now) but I think people should learn to race supercross. In supercross, you can't go directly behind anyone, not even on a flat straight or through a turn.

Why??

Because the possibility of crashing is incredibly high when compared to NASCAR, F1 or even MotoGp. Guys, please, don't try to "draft" (that's what it looks like from the outside, LoL) other riders. For example, I tend to single or double the first jump after a turn because my cornering speed is really bad. I can't even say an estimate number for the times I've been butt-fucked by other riders

Seriously, not everybody does the same line through a rythmn section. Sometimes it's not about speed, sometimes it's about confidence so NEVER EVER TRUST THAT THE GUY IN FRONT OF YOU IS GONNA GO TRIPLE-TRIPLE-TRIPLE CLEANLY because it won't happen

Constantly is not a word I would of chose.

I tried being nice, and then he went talking shit in a thread.

That was also a rather nice post. Carrying on now, complaining about the competition being to fast.

It is possible to go through an entire sx race without a single crash, I've done it, tysens done it, I'm sure there's others out there too. But just like irl if you're slower trying to race with the "big boys" the chances of you crashing or getting taken out is much higher. In supercross alot of the time you don't really have a choice but to go directly behind the person infront of you, it's not the most spacious type of track. That's why you see way more crashes in sx than nationals.

When the guy lapping you goes to the outside, slow down and go to the inside. Problem solved.

Faster riders running into downed riders is their own fault. Lapped riders jumping on them is not.

I would have won, but shack took me out in the first corner!

I suck at supercross. When I'm way back on the first lap I just loose focus and goon constantly.

Not completely true, although it's certainly not the downed rider's fault either. There doesn't always have to be fault in every crash. In supercross there's not a lot of opportunity for turning just by the fact that you are in the air so much. You commit to a jump and as you come off the face you see someone's head poking up from a blind spot as they get up from a crash. What can you do, and whose fault is that? nothing and nobody. you're just hitting the first few whoops as someone is crashing at the end of the section. You try to predict how they're going to flip and make a minor adjustment, hoping it will be enough. A major adjustment in the whoops will just send you flying, and there's a good chance you're going down in this situation. Again, nothing you can do and it's nobody's fault.

I'd like to add, THANK YOU PHATHRY. On the first lap I didn't jump the tabletop triple/quad thing (whatever you call it) and if you weren't such a good rider you would have landed on me. It may have saved both of our races. So thank you on your part. I'm not being sarcastic either, I figured you would land on me but you did a good job being patient, then getting in that pileup in the next turn letting me squeek on bye

This whole lapper, leader, taker-outer, non-taker outer, clean rider, dirty rider bullshit is getting tiring. Its a damn game, of course everyone is going to hold the gas as long as they can and jump every triple they get the opportunity too.

The reason you dont see this IRL SX, is because not everyone is sitting behind their 22 in. screen with a chew in, bitching and moaning at everyone in the chat log who happens to make contact with them.

JLV, maybe we could inforce like a rider bubble.... Seems to be no contact for these two :)

Just because it's a game doesn't mean it's ok for everyone to not use their heads when playing, especially when there's REAL prizes from REAL companies on the line.

Yes, people should race with their heads in official series. I don't mind much if some dumb rider goes like an idiot on a server but it's kinda funny there's so much idiots in the official races too
