I remember JLV saying "yay, now it's more rammer friendly" after he tweaked it back a little bit(after public outcry) with a "corrective" snap. I think it's still there and just happen to agree with Joner.

You still have the full manual steering force. What you miss is the instant 1000 ft/lb reaction from the steering stabilizer. It was like a jackhammer slamming into whoever you hit and it made block passing work backwords. The stabilizer was so strong it would punt the guy making the block.

Can we address the low speed hits, under 15-20FPS, and not being able to dab out of it. Surely you know of the frustration that comes from just barely nudging a downed rider as you try to stop and avoid them, only to fall over because your rider refuses to put his foot down...

Now that JLV explained why the stabilizer doesn't work in that situation, I'm kind of at a loss at how we could fix this. Maybe lessen the delay on the steering stabilizer to something like 0.25 seconds or so? It would require some testing to figure out what would keep you up without punting people.

the bike a rider to me should able to be a little stronger in the slower speeds take this for example. Im sure most real riders have had both these situations in similar ways, Ive gone through a basic whoop section and at the end back to flat 15 20 feet out a guy washed and a was able to use him as a bump in a sense by becoming stronger in the time and this is real life to. Next ive had a similar situation where same thing came up but i was going way to fast and even pulling the front end up i didnt not stand a chance to have a save like i did having a slower pace coming out of the whoops.

Just had something funny. A guy in front of me washes out, I can't avoid him and bang, we're both down and of the bike.
Now the guy in frond of me want's to take off, but right before he take's off he scoots back 1time, touching my frontwheel. No problems so far.
But then I wanted to take off, and I crashed again because I still didn't had any steering, because that dude touched my frontwheel while scooting backwards.

I lol'ed pretty hard, but it's not realy simulating-ish :P.

I might do something about it at low speed, especially when you get backed into. Most of the other cases don't bother me that much. I mean, if I've run into someone it's my own fault for following and not changing my line.

Yeah, the front end lock or whatever it is now is pretty damn good but for 1st turn pile ups in 1/2nd gear rolling around you just flop over... He needs his MXS foot to plant!

You can watch the races on the live stream (http://www.livestream.com/drs_racing). I don't know if they will be uploading the separate demos though.
