You're more than welcome to submit a protest and we'll take a look and give the appropriate penalty.

Gustavo came from brazil to Anaheim in one night because one of our riders couldn't race because of an injury. we tried to get graphics with his number but they just arrived this morning... So he had to ride Nash's bike with the #19 on it, the last 250 sitting in our race hauler. Next race his stuff will be on point. Fair?

Im sure Gustavo had a bike with his correct number on it and it wasnt life or death to ride yours. Rules are rules.

Could someone explain to me how to get signed up and in the amateur qualifying? Sorry for the ignorance. I just can't find a reliable answer. I tried to register on racefactorygaming.com but I'm having trouble registering/logging in. I sent an email to them with no response. Any help would be nice.

Thanks!

Been failing to post these here like I used to for some reason. Thanks to Jeremy, Chris, and Motoagogo for commentating last night and doing all the dirty work while I play in the dirt this year! Really means a lot boys

I went through trouble to follow this rule that was made specifically toward me, so you can be damn well sure that I want other people to have to follow it as well.

So he ran a bike with the wrong number.... Who the hell cares. It doesn't affect the racing one bit. If you're going to ban someone for doing that then theres something wrong with you people.

I care. Maybe not ban-worthy, but what else do you propose we instill so people follow one very simple rule? Jeremy and I work our asses off during the week creating content to get people hyped on Sim and to show up to our live streams so that we have a good audience. Then, we go out of our way to make you guys look good by being some of the fastest dudes to play the game. So yeah, it ticks me off a little when Gustavo (who can run whatever 3-digit he wants basically), shows up on our broadcast looking like former 250 champion Robert Nash running a very low two-digit number that he didn't earn. So there we are broadcasting away when "And there's Gustavo Diniz who is having a good night of racing. He usually doesn't ride so well, that's why he DOESN'T HAVE A NATIONAL NUMBER, but you people watching our stream for the first time wouldn't know that because it looks like he's a staple near the front of the field with that bitchin' low digit."

I like Gustavo. I like August and Byron too, even though they continued to frustrate me last year by running the wrong number and I would have to explain to the viewers why there's two #57's on the track or why the SX champion from the year prior wasn't running the single digit he earned and then picked. For as hard as we work to make you guys look like somewhat professionals at this game, it's frustrating to not get at least a little professionalism in return. Mmmmk? Mmmk

We do our best to promote a great series and continue the growth of a community. You don't have to agree with the rules, but if you choose to race you do have to follow them.

When the required national numbers first came on the scene, it was met with resistance by some. In the end I think most will agree it is for the betterment of the game. Guys pay attention and strive to get a two digit number, earn a career digit, etc.

When forcing real names came on the scene, it was met with resistance. It sure makes the broadcasts a hell of a lot more professional calling out real names versus "Shackattack12" and "BendOverTouchYourToes12357".

I feel this will be the same thing. It isn't a big deal for you to run your proper name/number/skin, so just do it and there is no issue.

(In my opinion) We do a lot and we don't ask for much in return. I would love for everyone to respect the rules, but that isn't even required. The only thing you have to give us back is to follow the rules or deal with the penalties that come with not following them. Pretty small investment for the return you get, isn't it?

An official protest has been filed. Gustavo, just like guys who run the wrong name/number in the server and get a warning in the server (or on the forum in August's case) will get a warning. Should he choose to disobey the ruling a second time, he'll face a stiffer penalty. That will be released with protests later this week.
