Re: 2016 rF Pro MotoOption and Am FAMmx Supercross Series
If you feel like I was actively trying to frustrate you, then you have the wrong idea and I'm sorry. You never approached me about it over the course of two years. It wouldn't have been hard for me to send you something to fix that for the stream if you had asked — I heard nothing from you or Race Factory until like 4 days before A1. I'm happy to follow rules, but there wasn't one for me to break.Osari52 wrote:I like August and Byron too, even though they continued to frustrate me last year by running the wrong number and I would have to explain to the viewers why there's two #57's on the track. . .

Well August, that's not all that true honestly. For one, I don't feel like you were 'actively trying to frustrate me', you were just doing it because it was a benefit for you to run the number and you probably didn't care about the other implications of it all too much. Besides calling you out quite a few times on the stream hoping you might get the hint, I would also talk to you in servers every once in a while and ask about "why you can't just run a skin with your number on it?" or something similar to that effect. Remember at RBSR when Jack Fowler started calling you out? Remember who was there calling you out too? Seems like maybe you don't. I never went after you about it because it wasn't a rule so I had no ground to stand on. I fought with you about it, never really seemed to work. So reasoning with you about some behind the scene skin transfer where you had to do more work than was 'necessary' seemed like something you just wouldn't have budged on there buddy.KTM57 wrote:If you feel like I was actively trying to frustrate you, then you have the wrong idea and I'm sorry. Kellen's post. Just to create more dramatic effect (even if it wasnt a "roast") he still gave some solid reasoning to actually follow the rules which people need to understand.Ddavis wrote:I don't see where this gif is necessary?

And I requested it out of respect to the series and the other racers and you refused without a rule.
It's fine, the rule should be there but it shouldn't have to be. Sucks to have guys getting bitten by honest mistakes when it was only needed to stop premeditated decisions. ( Seabolt A1 was an honest mistake )

I believe that the rules should be followed as much as the next guy. I'm not trying to defend Gustavo but it was one race. I would understand giving him a ban if he does it repeatedly but it was one race and I'm sure he will be running the right bike next week. I feel as if rF is getting a little bit ban happy which in my opinion will make more people leave than actually come race.

It all comes down to character. The lack of respect shown to others says a lot about a person. A good person doesn't need rules to do the right thing. This "argument" reeks of a lack of appreciation and is full of self centered entitlement.
Putting together this series is enough work as it is, enough that it stretches all of our time thing. Having to create and monitor rules like these consumes more of that time. Though we as an organization agree it is necessary to accomplish our goals of a quality end product.

Kasey. Read my post. He won't be banned just like Seabolt wasn't at A1. A warning is fair.

Wow that hurt KellenOsari52 wrote:And there's Gustavo Diniz who is having a good night of racing. He usually doesn't ride so well"

I was just pretty pissed that i could get a penalty from that since it was the first time in 4 years that i've ran a race with the wrong number on my skins and i have only 1 penalty, which was last year, aswell. So yep, sowwy

I'm sorry to say I don't remember you ever talking to me in servers, but that's my bad if you asked me to make you different skins then. I almost never watch your live streams. If you had come to me directly and asked for different skins, I could have done that super easily, but the most I remember seeing from you was "August never runs his assigned number" at the RBSR event, which didn't indicate to me that you actually had a problem with it (my bad again), and another comment in my team thread a couple weeks ago. I don't remember fighting with you on this before that, but it's possible we did.Osari52 wrote:Besides calling you out quite a few times on the stream hoping you might get the hint, I would also talk to you in servers every once in a while and ask about "why you can't just run a skin with your number on it?" or something similar to that effect. I just don't think you should have lumped Byron or me in with someone who actually broke a rule is all. I'm sure Gustavo will be fine, and I don't think anyone will be suspended or substantially penalized over the new rule, but I feel like it's a fair thing to protest if the powers that be decide that it's something they want to monitor.

Re: 2016 rF Pro MotoOption and Am FAMmx Supercross Series
Just for the record, I did not support Gustavo in running Nash's skins, but I mentioned that it was a rule and he was willing to risk it. I brought up this whole number issue because yes this does need to be enforced considering the time and effort Kellen and these guys put in to make this as legit as possible. It's little things like the national numbers that make what we have here so cool, and it shouldn't take a rule to make people follow it. But now that it is a rule August is very right to point out people who don't follow the rule because of his original case, so by no means was this a me trying to get August to not run my number specifically. But once I earned 57 I figured it was probably time to mention it to Chris and Kellen. Also, make personal skins all you want to run as u please, but when RF is related have proper stuff ready to respect them. The same goes for things like teams too. It would be even better if everyone could stick with a team so Kellen doesn't have to mention someone on a different team each week, but enforcing that would be pretty far fetched. Anyway, just like they said embrace how legit this series is and treat every aspect of it with respect.
P.s. If Brady still thinks I'm "Salty" or "crying" about this issue, then everybody show up to the next race with #22 on their stuff.
