Sweendoggy wrote: All I'm asking of you guys in europe, is to go to bed earlier than normal, wake up for your race, then go back to bed until you really have to wake up. If I can go to bed almost as late as normal, get up at 3:00am and stay up until the next night at 10:30, where I repeated the process (BTW I'm not planning on sleeping until tonight, even though it's sunday, as I'm supposed to go riding today). So yes, I think you guys are being babies. USA won last year, so we got the time slot, but we will see, if everyone doesn't mind waiting a few weeks in between races, and the possibility of last minute cancels, the weekend is feasible...
Normally,im going to bed at 10 or 11 pm then i wake up for my job at 5.45 am ( i think most of euros wake up 7am for school and 6am for jobs).I don't even bother to tell you the rest of my day schedule.... So you are saying i have to screw my day up? Means i go to bed at 9pm, wake up at 2am,eat and prepare for mx3 race which starts at 3am, then i play mxs like for 1 hour, the race ends at 4 am, now im going back to bed to sleep 1,45 hours? Then be tired for the rest of the day. And have you ever (US) rode a mxs race at 3am or 4am or 5am? Its just stupid, its like playing drunk, or even worse...but i guess we all euros are just cry babies.

what sween is trying to say is its hard to please everyone, no one will be happy and Sween is hosting it so he has a lot to do he doesn't just have to get up for his race he has to stay up for them all so it makes sense to host it at a time that works better for him I mean the Euros, sure it sucks you have to get up at 4am and race for one hour and go back to bed but sween (if he was to reverse the time zones) would have to get up at say 1am and not be able to go to bed until 4.30-5.00 am so yes it does suck but don't be selfish their are people that would be affected greater if it was the other way around.

I don't really see the big problem the euros have with getting up at night. Sure you may be tired at school/work the day after, but if enough sleep is important for you, then try to go to bed 2- 3 hours earlier than usual. Works perfect with me, and I've done a few of these night races by doing that without any issues with beeing tired at work/school that day 8)

Btw if the race is on a weekend, then I might drop out...

Europe makes up the most countries, the US makes up the largest percentage of players. And I agree, we need a MXSoS.
