As we are approaching this huge step in MXS racing I think its time to start discussing it.
IMO as stated in the EMF thread-
The Pro class should be anyone who signs up for it BUT if you have made a main in the SX series you are required to ride the Pro class. This would help the sandbagging and is as fair as you can be. If you've made the main at a SX this year you are obviously one of the fastest racers here. It may be more realistic if the rule was adjusted to two or three mains. I do not think points would be a good idea because if someone made 3 mains but only scored 1 point each race thats 3 points were as a rider that made the main once but scored 6 points, because a few riders quit or a huge pile up or any reason, would look faster but may not be true. If a rider rides pro and then his life gets to busy to ride enough to stay at the pro level he should have to file an appeal to the officials to move down a class.
Thoughts?
Note: No affiliation with rF they couldnt care less about how i think the classes should be run.
