I thought that a team was a good idea ,but i have played the demo version for awhile.But in the forum yes.i am new.

Firstly welcome to the game and forums, please ignore the less mature members of the forum, they do not represent the entire population of members here.
As for joining a team have a look here -

Although the list is a bit outdated have a look and PM a few people about joining there team if it looks to be lacking in numbers.

This team is advertised for nice mature members which you appear to be
Also you can use what ever number you want, so yes you can use 488 however in a series often preference is given to the member who has been around longer but online it doesn't matter. Also DDMX doesnt enter every series so im sure you will beable to use it..
Anyway welcome and please dont judge the forum by the first person you hear from...
BTW welcome to the forum. Remember to conserve neatness through out the forum try to use the edit button (top right corner of your own post) instead of creating a new one.
Also use the search function first as there will almost always be a similar topic you can look at which might answer your question. If that topic is very old (Look at the date of the last few posts) and you need to ask a question then make a new topic
