Horrible times for RFG races

Post by Tbonemx428 »

Hello Mx sim community.
My name is Thomas, and i am just wondering a few things. Please don't hate on me for asking these.
1. Why have Pro Races on Thursdays, most of us have school very early the next day, why not put these on a friday evening.
2. Why have Am Races on Sundays. Most of us have to dread going to school the following day because MONDAYS SUCK!
3. Would it be possible to change these races?
Please respond why these are like this, and please dont be rude about it.
Thanks.

Hi, from a host to a player. Unfortunately the scheduled events run at a time that suits the host, speaking for myself here I run (or did) events at times that do not conflict with my family life (being an oldy) so I am afraid it's a case of riding the events that you are able to. General rule of thumb is to not complain about when hosts have time to run races because they will stop. Just remember, most of us are taking time out of our own lives to satisfy the needs of others around the world.

Unfortunately there is no "one time suits all" solution. A lot of factors go into when we run races, with it being severely limited by our own schedules. My experience is that Friday and Saturday night races work every now and then, but in a 17 round series it is cumbersome, and more likely that people will want to do it on a night nothing else ever happens, I.E. a work/school night.

What you gotta understand is not all of the MXS community are still in grade school. Plus, host decides when the races are held, because he's...well..hosting...
