Cleary I made a mistake lol

Post by mxcobra »

I just purchased this game after playing the demo...

I have been playing if for about 3 hours, but was using arcade mode.. I went to race online and got ripped up on side and down the other...

I turned off the arcade mode... but now playing this game SUCKS (give me a break, the guy cart wheels for no reason) ! I'm using my xbox 360 controller, so if anyone could share settings and tips that would be great ...

Thanks in advance.

put your stability at 100 and practice. turn your stability down as you get more comfortable.

Try not to turn the whole time through a corner. And you should also try sitting down in the corners.

Should i program a button , or use the joy stick to sit with the xbox360 controller. I would like to know how other people have this controller setup.

how faster you go, how better you can handle your bike, ofcourse you have to break befoure the corners xD.
And don't do like other arcade sucky game's.
start turning a bit in front of the corner, then stop pushing you turning button, make a turn, and push the other site on your steering button to come back straight.
If you crash. Just try it again :).

Everyone started like that, that's about the most fun part of the game, the difficulty.

I was also told recently to set the "Rider Forward Damping" higher, I've got mine at 40 now (up from 10, i know, dont know why it was so low). I've also meesed with the some of the steering sliders (dont know the names of them off-hand, steering strength and something such) to slow the turn of the bars a little bit. I ride with 15 stability and use a Logitech gamepad (resembles a PS2 controller). Just stick with it man, you'll thank yourself in the long run, I know I did. :)

Also, set the gas to something that is analog. I set it to be right analog stick up in the gas, right analog down is the rear brake and right trigger is the front brake. It took about an hour to get used to and is so natural now. Also, pretty much only turn when there is a berm there or else your front will slip. If the corner is flat, go really slow, and lean forward.

Don't forget to get the recent patch.... It helps with the sliding out front tire and much more...
