December 7th?
LMAO now I see what I did wrong. Probably was still half asleep from waking up early this morning.

Chris, are we allowed to race West in Ams and try to go pro for East coast?

I think that's the goal of the Amateur series.

However I don't think you should be able to do Pro West and do Amateurs in the East (even if you don't have a pro license).

Triple post :P Unless you aren't making mains, then I think you should be able to race Amateurs.

Maybe make a rule where if you do the Pro class on the West coast, you're only eligible to do Amateurs on the East if you have less than 10 points or something.

I would say going from AM West coast to Pro East coast makes sense (that's basically what it was in 2013) but going Pro and making mains in West coast then moving down doesn't make sense to me. I would say the only people that should be able to move down to AM for East after racing Pro West should be the people that didn't make any mains

If you sign up for west coast but don't ever qualify, could you race east?

This is not an official ruling...

But my thoughts are if you race pro at all (qualify for the fast 40) you are an A license rider. You must have an A to ride pro 250 and a B/C to ride Amateur. Graduating would be looked at differently but you have to earn/prove that you're eorthy of that license and you won't be able to return to last west coast Am 250 rounds. You could ride 250 Am on the west and 450 am on the east.
