2016 St Jude Race for the Kids

Hello and welcome to my first event! This will be a 4 round event starting April 15th at 9pm EST (Friday) then every Friday after that for the next 3 weeks. Each track will be released roughly 4-6 days before the race each week with Round 1 being a bit earlier as a gift to you all. All I ask is you please give a $5 (or more) to the St Jude link that is included in this post. The link below is a link on the official St Jude website, that way no one will worry about the donation actually reaching the charity. If you are not able to donate right away that is fine, I am allowing a grace period until the day of the 3rd round to pay for your "ticket" to race in the series, if you do not donate by that race your points will be revoked and you will not be allowed to race the final round. If you know someone that is willing to cover your donation please make sure that they include it in the donation memo. I am never one to advocate paying for a series, yet this is something important and a way to give back to a great cause. There will be both an Am and Pro 250/450 as well as an open class if you did not qualify for any of the races.

What is St Jude?

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay. Last year I raised over $11k for the charity during the month of May during the St Jude Play Live Event that lets streamers give back and help out by doing what we love doing. This time I am getting the Sim Community involved with a great race series.

Be sure to write in the donation memo what your UID and in game name will be for the series so I know who has purchased a "ticket" to race.
Also if someone is covering your ticket be sure to have them write in the memo who they will be covering per every $5 added.
There is no limit to how much you can donate, if you feel like giving more than the $5 you are welcome to and will be greatly appreciated.

Awesome to see this. Back in High School we use to donate Supplies, and money to the Ronald McDonald House beside Vanderbilt. Will definately be donating. Hats off to you Moto.

Just wanted to give you all a progress report on the series and how the donation month is going. The donation period runs from April 8th-May 8th and if an of you would like more information about how to help please feel free to get hold of me.

So far just from the Sim community we have raised over $350!!! You all are an amazing group of people and to reach this amount in just 4 days is amazing. Also at the same time my stream team for St Jude has now hit over $630!!!!
This whole month of my streaming/job is dedicated to this charity, and it means more than you all know for the support and help so far.

Remember the first round is in 3 days on Friday at 9pm est. Be sure to sign up soon and I hope to fill the gate for each round to make this an amazing series.
