false. put a white version of the text as a layer, then duplicate it and make the one on top of the white a rainbow gradient or oil slicked whatever you like. then lower the opacity on the rainbow gradient, this will make the white shine through making it look reflective / oil slicked. putting a spec map helps also. im sure there are other ways also but that i found is one of the easiest
