Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)
Attention: For those of you who can't find any servers without "AMs" in them, rf.mxsimulator.com:19800 through 19804 will be limited to pro riders only during qualifying. As usual, elsinore.mxsimulator.com:19805 will be top 15 450 class riders, 19806 and 19807 will be 450 riders only, 19808 will be top 15 250E riders, and 19809 and 19810 will be 250E riders only.
Yes, they will count.ktm2219 wrote:are the rf racing servers counting this week usually they are on the quali page but they are not rn just curious?

Actually, the reason this was penalized is because we won't introduce any gray area. If you cause an issue re-joining the racing, you will be penalized if protested. Is it lame that it was protested? Yes, but we can't afford to introduce any gray area to the rule. It's black and white. This avoids any bias.Ddavis wrote:
I agree there's a weird gray area ... Prokop's situation
You realize this was ruled no penalty right?Another example is Jack Haley when he ran into Rush. All it takes is watching the demo to see he over jumped the finish and couldn't stop on time, but in the heat of the moment I'm sure it looked like a dirty punt (from Rush's POV). I'm not posting to discredit rF's decisions, get involved in protests, or to pledge to fix anything regarding the rules
Fact is, the protests have been done on time with zero bias put into them every week this year. We have a structure of penalties we are using the same each week. I have been part of rF for a long time, and this is the best they have ever been to being consistent. It sucks for Peter to be the "face" of the protests, but it isn't just him, but a group that looks at them weekly with the same criteria each time.
It does suck some individuals see the protest system as some sort of revenge tool or something to use to prove a point, but what goes into the protest system once there is reviewed fairly no matter who or what is involved.

So when Kellen falls and chooses to rejoin the racing action in reverse and causes another rider to fall why is he not penalized?

He was aligning himself straight. That is exactly what is expected of riders, you should always align yourself straight before rejoining the race.TH_722 wrote:So when Kellen falls and chooses to rejoin the racing action in reverse and causes another rider to fall why is he not penalized?
Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)
Yes, but I brought it up because it wastes Peters time to download the demo and watch this, because I'd almost bet if Rush went back and saw it from Haley's perspective he wouldn't have even bothered protested him. That's why I mentioned it, should have made that clear.checkerz wrote:You realize this was ruled no penalty right?Another example is Jack Haley when he ran into Rush. But as the downed rider it is his responsibility to rejoin the racing without hitting any other riders..Hi Im Skyqe wrote:He was aligning himself straight. Haskell, not mad at you or anything, because I don't really care about the 450 class. Just curious of if your that far back and getting lapped in the LCQ, why did you roll around, I know you were trying to stay out of the way. But if you hit that inside rut like I did then double then you go straight to where you was. But all G man.

Ask Zach Prokop, Jeremy Seabolt, and the DDOS gang. They'll be happy to explain why.Dunivant25 wrote:Haskell, not mad at you or anything, because I don't really care about the 450 class. It is his job to rejoin the race safely which he did his best doing. He cannot control a rider running into him when there is a three rider pileup in the last turn and he is trying to align himself straight.TH_722 wrote:But as the downed rider it is his responsibility to rejoin the racing without hitting any other riders..Hi Im Skyqe wrote:He was aligning himself straight. If you know the rules so well Hoffman why do you seem to break them as many times as you do?
