I get where you're coming from with this. I still think I'm a bit of a special case since 4 or 5 guys faster than me moved up or got banned, and my best finish all season was 3rd, but generally it is a good rule to have the champion move up.Hi Im Skyqe wrote:This is my opinion as well.Ezra wrote:While I don't disagree with you that there's kind of an awkward gap between pro and amateur,(I even pushed to split 250 ams into an A and B class, where the a class is made up of those guys looking to go pro, but I digress) if guys like you can't qualify for pro some weeks, and bump down to ams, in my opinion that could really cause some issues for the guys strictly trying to race the amateur series.RXR_Banjo wrote:Im in the same boat as Bonneau, i would be in every pro LCQ cuz i cant make top 36 = im stuck between ams and pro, i think it would be a good idea to be able to raceams if we dont make it in the pro heats just like before
Couldn't someone like you work on trying to race pro, but still make main events and compete for the podium on open night? I'm not trying to point the finger here or single you out at all, just providing my $.02
In Bonneau's case I do think if he put in more time he should be able to make it into the night show in pro..
Being 100% honest I think that if someone wins a AM championship they should be moving up the following season.
As far as putting in more time goes, we could all improve with more time, the problem is finding the time between everything else going on in life
For the open class, does that run all season? If I am forced out of ams, could I run open for West and try for pro East coast?
