I think the reason they feel so deep is because of 2 reasons

1) I think some of the deeper ruts are placed too close together, preventing these inhuman speeds of just holding it wide open.
2) Typically you have a flat corner with tall berms or a flat turn with ruts in it, but this week they're steep walls with ruts inside the rut, so once you're in the rut you can't get to the inside of it (realistic I know, but still), and you hit your bars/shoulder a lot easier preventing a lot more "stand ups"

Really like the track this week. I like the scale of it this year. The big tripple stepup is hard to do on a 250 but it still has the roughness of last year. Big thanks to rf for all the track changes this year.

HUGE PROPS to making the most realistic Muddy Creek yet IMO. I've always been disappointed about the scaling of this track, but this is pretty close to the way the track rides IRL. I love it. Thanks guys!

Not sure why, might be the track layout itself, but I cannot stand the track this week. The bumps are so choppy and ruts are bigger than normal it seems.

Not the only one, least fav track of the year for myself. Hard to explain how I don't like it but I feel like the bumps are alright it's the transition of them.

I think its better to have rougher tracks versus smoother tracks, but there's way too many moments on this track where I'm riding perfectly fine and explode 10 feet int the air doing front flips cartwheeling because there's a 6 foot deep hole out of nowhere.
