What does"UID Grab" mean?

What does"UID Grab" mean?

I've just signed up for my first actual MX Sim race in the Motosavage event and it says that UID grab is at 7:45, 15 minutes before the motos start. What is a UID Grab?

UID Grab is when the host will populate the "Attending Riders". Without it, you'd just take the top 40 qualifiers, even if 10 or so weren't there and end up without a full gate. A UID grab allows you to take the top 40 attending riders for example.
