Personally I preferred moto 1 erode, It was challenging but you could still rail once you got in the flow. Only thing I didn't like about first moto was some random bumps forming on the exits of a few the ruts causing weird kicks but this could have been caused by having more people on the gate and more crashes in the ruts, second moto was still good only thing I didn't like was the this turn https://gyazo.com/976efc92587dd2255c0b8df1e1d2643f felt like the inside formed too far to the left kinda cutting off the outside too much considering the outside wasn't forming like it did first moto.
These erode test races are fun tho thanks for hosting and hope you guys continue getting the numbers to do them.

yzmxer608 wrote:IMO the depth of the erode seemed good, it just seemed to erode too fast. The first few laps where everyone is all over and avoiding downed riders created goofy lines that no one would normally take. These didn't seem to be over ruled by the normal fast lines, which ended up with lots of rough everywhere and lines that didn't seem to make sense. This was for moto 1, we'll see what moto 2 says.
I agree but for moto 2. I think that the erode for the first 5-10 minutes erodes a little too quick but towards the end of the race it made it difficult enough that it made me change up my lines, which i like, and its realistic. There is also a lot of smaller bumps that are everywhere which would cause some interesting crashes. Other than these small complaints i loved it and made racing intersting and unpredictable.

Thanks Chex for the tests and I will try to make as many as i can to help out and further the development.

Erode + Outdoors + Sand = Sim at its best

That was a lot of fun. Great work! The only other thought I had was that maybe the max depth for a few of the tight insides could be a little shallower, but otherwise the shape and amount of ruts/bumps was great.

Erode in the sand is so fun!

My comments would be not that it was too rough but that the bumps that formed from erode almost seemed a little too close and choppy, rather than bigger, more spread or whooped out bumps. So it lost a little bit of the sandy feel. Really liked the lines that formed in the corners too but will piggy back Colton’s feedback on the insides as well.

Very fun!

Was only there for first moto because of work but though it was pretty solid, southwick is meant to be rough. I had a few issues with the erode not loading properly, think that might be to do with my pc more than anything. Some of the ruts got real deep towards the end, and to say only about 10 people finished the moto a 40 man gate must be pretty full on, on that test track. The lines formed really well though, felt it eroded like a sand track should other than some of the monster braking bumps that started to appear.

Thanks Checkers, good to see the erode progressing.

Well, good news/bad news:

Bad news: Southwick won't be out tonight

Good news: We can sneak in a final Southwick Erode test since I know a lot are online waiting for the track. Get some practice in and help test erode.
