Official Statement Regarding Cheating

Game Tampering/Hacking/Cheating in MX Simulator

Recently the development of altered game files has crept into Race Factory Gaming (rF Gaming) competition and after review and further investigation; rF Gaming has learned that the development and use of cheating mods is on-going. In the best interest of rF Gaming, its competitors and fans, and the MX Simulator community; Race Factory Gaming is invoking a ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CHEATING POLICY towards game tampering/hacking/cheating. The policy is effective starting March 5, 2019 at 12:01am PST and will be enforced in addition to previous penalties given out for this type of behavior. The ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CHEATING POLICY reads:

"Any rF Gaming members found to be using, developing, attempting to gain access to, or aiding the development of cheating mods or mods that could be used for cheating in any way; including all single player and multiplayer use or involvement are subject to an immediate indefinite ban from all rF Gaming competitions and will also be reported to the MX Simulator staff with the recommendation for a permanent key ban. rF Gaming intends to take an extremely strong stance and enforce extremely severe penalties on anyone involved with activity that may tarnish the racing competition in MX Simulator."

ZERO TOLERANCE for tampering game files or even attempting to get the files.

Good to see proactiveness, I would like to see indefinite changed to permanent though. (Even though I’m sure that’s what it will be in this scenario, it’s just a nit pick on word choice, ie i think we’ve had one indefinite ban lifted in sim, may be wrong though)

Imagine blowing by people in an rF race knowing you're cheating and completely compromising the integrity of this game/series. The no-lifers have reached a new level of depressing, congrats guys.

This is not GTA, it's a simulator. Take your mods over to the fancy SX2 game.

@rF staff any ideas what said mods give the user the ability to do? Might help if other Pros can look for signs of it while on track, especially if it effects the other riders race.

Interesting to consider with how many guys "came outta nowhere" and are unbelievably fast this year.

If they aren't cheating, props to them.

From some clips I've seen tho, there are some "cheats" that could really improve the game visually. like this for example. (ITS NOT ME IN THE CLIP.)

notice that the rider leans realisticly when he is in the air/taking off the lip
But definateley agree with this policy, I hate it when people cheat to win in a game especially when it means nothing besides bragging rights at most.
