I downloaded the 450 Stock Model replacement, and my bikes shows up invisible. I had this problem about a year ago but forgot how I fixed it.

I am using Photoshop CS5. I want to know how to make the color fade from dark to light. Just as the gray area is here on T-rider's kit. The graphic right by the seat on the shroud. Can anyone write me a quick description on how to make this happen. Im new to PS, but getting alot better with the tools. Just need to find out these tips and tricks to add flare to some designs.

I usually just make my design/shape, then right click the layer in the layers tab and go to blending options, then gradient overlay, and play with the settings

Or you could lock the layer's transparent pixels and use the gradient tool. That's usually what I do, to me it gives me more control of the gradient.

If you want to change the color of the gradient, then double click on the color and change them individually. I had a hard time figuring that out :lol:

if you have model that's named modelname.jm, the LOD will be modelname_lod#.jm...bigger numbers mean further lod, so lod3 is closer then lod8, about the numbers...well if i'm not mistaken DJ explained how it's transformed to distance from the model somewhere on the forum (it's something like 2^lod# feet from model, not really sure tho...also it depends on model geometric details setting)

sorry guys i started modling so i have lot of questions(hard ot read for me all tutorials on english so)
how to add reflectios or such
cuz when i export my model ingma it looks like shadows work extremly
like some side of bike is extremly light and other dark no cotrasty on skin
