I think everyones care meters are a bit too high. That goes for both sides of the party. Too much anger and egos for a damn video game. Why modelers give a shit about who puts what skin on their models is beyond me. Thought that was the whole point in spending the time modeling something... for it to be used. But hey, its your work. I really do think you guys just like the drama. Some people are into that shit. Look at the people that have released bikes, (obj's, templates, so on) zero drama involved, at least from my point of view. And the people that care so much of what others have and they dont. This is just a game. Wait until you grow up and see the real world. Theres going to be tons of shit that people have that you dont, all through life. Better get use to it.

In my honest opinion people shouldnt be ripping and begging for the stuff, since they get it all free and basically dont have to do sh*t for it *excuse my bad words* they should be happy with what they already got for free and respect all the creators.

Now here comes something i wanna say for long time now:

tbh I wouldnt mind paying for the awesome stuff people make (like andy p2sta attacker m121c and more) so we should be really really really happy these people make this for free for us instead of stealing their stuf!

MvA days were the best, I honestly wish I wasn't such a little cocky bitch during those days where I could have actually enjoyed being apart of the community. Nowadays, I feel like there's 50 12 year old me's lurking around here. If you think I'm bad now? I'm first class compared to back then.

If somebody makes a work of art, it's his. He doesn't have to share it with anyone. If he wants to share it with a select few until it's actually done, fine. Lots of team-exclusive things (i.e. KXF) aren't even finished, and everyone throws a fit because they can't have it. It's easy for me to say that because I'm friends with Andy and Aaron and they have given me the sweet hookup, but I'd like to think that I earned that through maturity and good rep, NOT through ripping their shit. I'm also sure that public releases of everything would be much quicker if the same bike (i.e. KXF) hadn't been ripped and released five or six times already.

I think you misinterpreted what I was saying August. What I meant by greedy assholes is the people that rip stuff that are never satisfied with what they already have. Their are so many people here that just do not show the appreciation that the creators deserve. I understand it takes months to create any decent replicas, and the fact that the creators just hand them to us without asking for anything more than a simple like is ridiculous! I would definitely be willing to pay money for their work because they deserve it! If it wasn't for guys like Attacker, Motoboss, Haqqvist, Checkerz, Gio, Andy, DDMX, etc. This game wouldn't be near as cool as it is today. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I am horrible at putting things into words.

EXACTLY!!! there are some very desperate people out there and, well, thats one of the reasons thing get ripped. just release the psd, jm, etc. and no more ripped shit!

I think its still up to the creator to decide whether to release his stuff or not. Sure it might suck for some people, but it isnt their work anyway. They are just being provided material to work on/with.

I released almost all of my PSD of stuff i create,but since the day where i saw my Valli Motorsports in Puremxs,then i started to release the PSD,and even creation less.
So,i think creator want to have a "priority" on their creation,like have his number on it or i don't know,i think just release a SAF is pretty good!

In my opinion everyone releasing their source files only works if every single member of the community is contributing to the pot of content so to speak. This obviously isnt the case at the moment because you have people like p2sta making a huge amount of content and then loads of others who do fuck all for the community. Why do the people that do nothing deserve to get every single ounce of work from the people that spend a huge amount of time actually creating content?

Too many people spending hours on end trying to run fast laps on a server rather than creating content if you ask me
